SPOTLIGHT SPOTLIGHT meet

THISISMATHILDE!

Meet one of our vibrant Campus One residents! Currently studying criminology at Université de Montréal, she is still discovering exactly where her academic journey will take her — and embracing every part of the process. Curious, driven, and open-minded, she finds criminology both fascinating and meaningful, enjoying how it challenges her to think critically about society and human behavior. Living in Montreal has made her university experience even richer, thanks to the city’s lively atmosphere, diverse culture, and incredibly student-friendly environment. She loves how there’s always something happening around the city, whether it’s festivals, cafés, study spots, or spontaneous adventures with friends — making Montrealfeellikehomeawayfromhome.

WHATSHEDO?

Outside of academics, she believes strongly in balance andstayingactive. She’sbeenexploringdifferentwaysto keep moving, from gym workouts and swimming to running around the city — always finding new ways to stay energized. Recently, she even discovered axe throwing (yes, axe throwing!), which she highly recommendsasafunstressrelieverduringmidtermand finalsseason Whenshe’snottryingnewactivities, she lovesspendingtimewithfriends, especiallyiceskatingat Esplanade Tranquille, creating memories that make student life so special.
