pring, thus far at least, has not been conducive to many outdoor endeavours whether it be farming, various construction projects or gardening. However, we are an adaptive society and the “show must go on” is true for all involved. Despite the climate, there is no better place to find that spring has sprung than a locally owned and operated greenhouse. Case in point: Westway Gardens in Bittern Lake, where professional green thumbs are enjoying the warmth, humidity, sight and aroma that only can be found in an indoor growing centre. Watch for greenhouses to be opening in the coming days and weeks. In the meantime, your favourite plants, each being carefully nourished, are springing up daily.
