The new look for the most macho of men is heels. And, as this picture suggests, for certain the colour must truly pop!
On Thursday, August 2, Dale McKinney and Guss McKinney will join dozens of other Camrose men who are proud to take a step (and a stand) towards ending gender violence against women. The guys will be participating in the annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes march, during the Big Valley Jamboree parade, to help raise awareness of women and children impacted by the long-standing effects of domestic violence. All of these fashionable businessmen and professionals will be seeking pledges for their parade jaunt. As an added incentive to maximize the money they raise, Guss has agreed to wear a sparkly red gown during his walk for a total commitment from the public of $500 or more. Dale will adorn a comfortable, adorable, eye-catching yellow and red tutu for pledges totalling at least $1,000. Your commitment to this duo can be made directly at their shop, Rose City Tire in Camrose, or on the Camrose Women’s Shelter Society website. Funds raised will support the local Women’s Shelter Society.
