The Remedy Kitchen: Sharing Love Through Food
WHAT'S INSIDE:
When this pandemic came to our country, it impacted many people in so many devastating ways. One of the impacts that quickly came to our attention was that with the transition to online school, many children would be going without meals.

We started an online campaign an in less than a week, thanks to the generous hearts of many people, we raised enough money to make 15,000 meals for families over the summer. Once we raised the money, then our staff of 4 was tasked with preparing the meals. Something that feels so unique and special about Camp Southern Ground is that we have a staff whose hearts are connected to our mission; that has become even more evident as staff members show up week after week to support the preparation of the meals. Zac calls the dining hall the heart of Camp. It has been beautiful to have an opportunity to continue to love people in these uncertain and difficult times. It is our desire that as people receive these meals, that not only would they have full bellies, but have full hearts too.
