THE WALKING SOCIETY is a community open to everyone from all social, cultural, economic, and geographical backgrounds. Individually and collectively, The Walking Society champions the imagination, energy, and lifestyle of the Mediterranean, offering valuable ideas and solutions to better the world.
The first issue of The Walking Society Magazine launched in 2001 and focused on Mallorca, Camper’s native island. The original series, which covered different territories throughout the Mediterranean, lasted four years and eight issues before ending in 2005. In 2020, the concept was relaunched to explore new regions and their cultures.
Issue 15 explores Eivissa, one of the most famous — and infamous — islands in the Mediterranean. We seek out the quieter side of Eivissa and meet the diverse community that makes the island what it is today. Away from the crowds and the chaos, the magazine’s words and images aim to capture the freedom and magnetism of this unique and enduringly appealing island.
