In less than two months, the global peanut community will gather in Mendoza, Argentina, for the second in-person edition of the World Peanut Meeting, scheduled for March 17–19. Accordingly, this issue of WPM includes a feature on the beautiful host city and the event program. We also examine the trade agreement between the European Union and Mercosur—which includes Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay—and its potential impact on the peanut trade. In addition, we take a closer look at the flooding that affected China a few months ago and the possible implications of changing weather patterns in the country. We introduce a new star of the online video-game world, TheBurntPeanut, and, share a recipe for a delicious dressing: Thai peanut sauce. Finally, we discuss an interesting and innovative way to introduce new technology in the peanut production processes: the TecnoManí event in Argentina.
