THE JUDITH P. HOYER CENTER FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION (JUDY CENTER)
The Judy Center supports school readiness for children from birth to age five who are not yet in school. Located at St. Leonard Elementary School, it was one of the state’s original 25 early childhood partnerships, a number that has since grown to more than 50 statewide. The Judy Center is named in honor of the late Judith P. Hoyer, an early childhood educator and the wife of Maryland Congressman Steny Hoyer.
