SPRING FORWARD As most of you are preparing for your 2012 races, the California Triathlon volunteers have been very busy for the first two months of the New Year. We met with Mayor Bill Bogaard of Pasadena and Congressman Adam Schiff to gain support for California Triathlon.

We have joined efforts with Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) to create hats that will be available in March. All proceeds from these hats will go directly to CAF.

We are also excited to have many of our volunteers travel down to Oceanside for the Ironman 70.3 California to support the triathlon in the first transition. I am happy to announce the return of the Wednesday Rose Bowl bricks and the addition of Tuesday bricks at Griffith Park and Thursday bricks in San Dimas in March.
