What made you choose a career in real estate?

“My real estate journey began in 2013 when I met my now husband, Alan. I was living downtown in West Central

time, I was working full-time as a teacher and he was a school principal at a neighboring school. He also owned a handful of rental properties, but wanted to expand into multifamily investing. I became increasingly interested in the process and began helping where I could. As a teacher, I’ve always had a passion for helping others grow, guiding them through new experiences, and supporting them as -

rally carried over into real estate. In 2016, we purchased a small apartment complex and that’s when I knew I needed to step into a more hands-on role managing our rentals. I

How do you stay caught up up real estate market trends and changes?

“I regularly review data, track inventor y, and pay attention to interest rates and lending updates. I also attend continu-

ing education and Centur y 21 trainings to help guide me in giving my clients the most up to date information ”

How do you expand your client base?

“I expand my client base by building relationships, staying visible in the community through volunteer work, engage on social media, and host open houses to meet new potential clients. I nurture past clients for referrals and help

How do you stand out from other Realtors?

“I think what sets me apart from other Realtors is that I’m not only an agent — I’m an active real estate investor and rental property owner. I live the process I guide my clients through, which gives me practical, real-world insight into buying, managing, and building long-term value in real estate. Is there any advice you would give to someone interested in making real estate a career?

“My advice to anyone interested in a career in real estate is to go in with patience, work ethic, and a genuine desire to ser ve. Success will not happen overnight. It comes from consistency, learning the market, and building real relationships. Be willing to ask matter, because they do. Real estate is demanding, but if you approach it with a mindset focused on helping others, it is an incredibly rewarding career”
