Cosette Jones is a mother of six amazing children and an
emerging Christian artist on a mission to spread light into the world. She grew up in Utah loving music from an early age, fueled primarily by the lights and sounds of Broadway, and she has made music a big part of family life with her husband and children in Davis County. After being a Top 10 Finalist in a nationwide talent search hosted by Jim Brickman in 2021, she is now utilizing her talent in a way that touches other people’s lives and inspires them to see the good in the world. Cosette has found her passion in covering contemporary Christian music and classic hymns in an elegant and uplifting style. Christopher Jed “CJ” Madsen is an adjunct professor at
the Brigham Young University (BYU) School of Music. CJ recently received a doctor of musical arts (DMA) degree from the University of Arizona, emphasis in choral conducting. CJ received a master’s degree in choral conducting and a bachelor’s degree in piano performance, both from BYU. CJ’s doctoral document was on the choral music of Janice Kapp Perry. He is a few dozen pieces shy of 1,000 compositions that he has written over the course of his lifetime, including operas, oratorios, cantatas, solo piano works, vocal arrangements, and hundreds of 20-second melodies set to Bible verses that CJ’s family calls “scripture songs.” CJ grew up in West Jordan, Utah, and was a volunteer missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 2012 to 2014 in North Carolina. Much of CJ’s inspiration as a conductor, composer, and pianist come from his belief in Christ, his passion for people, his thirst for powerful music, and his love for his wife (Samm) and five children (Hollis, Charlotte, Jonathan, Taran, and Georgia).
