On October 1st, let’s turn pain into purpose. Together on the TODAY Show, we will attempt to break a Guinness World Record for the most people to sign up for a DNA screening in one hour

A simple genetic test – a quick spit test that takes only seconds – helped save my life. Had I known earlier, I may have been spared chemotherapy, radiation, a double mastectomy, and ongoing treatment. I can’t bear to watch anyone else go through this unnecessarily. That is why, on the first day of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we are filling the plaza with Warriors – people who in the face of unimaginable obstacles choose to forge forward with strength, grit and kindness

“Jill fought breast cancer with all her might and with such grace. It is an honor to be part of her journey. She used her platform and reached millions of people to raise awareness all while battling aggressive surgeries and chemotherapy.

We raised over $4 million dollars together when we honored her at the Mount Sinai/Dubin Breast Center gala in December of 2024. She says I am her hero, but she is one of mine.”

On October 1st, 2024, Jill launched a national campaign on the TODAY SHOW in collaboration with the NBA & WNBA With the help of her contact Chloe at the league, Jill was able to turn the NBA logoman, WNBA logo & other team logos pink to raise money for their respective charities. Thank you to the University of Michigan, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers & New York Knicks for participating in our 2024 campaign Because of our efforts, a huge donation is being made to BCA awareness and genetic testing - a test that saved Jill’s life.

Jill also took part in the NFL Crucial Catch joining the Football Night in America crew to help raise awareness around the league’s existing initiative. On September 26th, on the broadcast and at MetLife Stadium, Jill was honored for the grace and bravery she showed during her public battle with breast cancer.

Jill plans on making this year even bigger and hopes you can be a part of it in some way.
