TOWN HALL RECAP
On November 20th, 2025, Westchester County convened its fourth countywide Birth Equity Town Hall, focused on promoting birth equity. The discussion brought together birthing hospitals and community partners to share evidencebased practices—including the TeamBirth model—and tools for assessing social determinants of health during the birthing process, reinforcing our collaboration with Westchester County government and various stakeholders, as we strive to close health disparities.

Maternal Health Town Hall Agenda & Objectives
TeamBirth presented best practices that hospitals can implement to improve maternal and child health outcomes. The presentation’s main focus was on TeamBirth’s implementation at St. John’s Riverside Hospital (SJRH) has led to measurable improvements in patient data and outcomes.
