Symptoms are vague and often brushed off as other ailments For all the reasons above, my family and I felt it especially important to highlight the issues of ovarian cancer in our community. We created the “Harts of Teal” organization to elevate awareness of Ovarian Cancer through community-wide activities and fundraising. “Overwhelming blessing” Fayetteville Ford dealership helps Georgia family in need A 13-year-old boy with muscular dystrophy and his family can now get around town thanks to the generosity of a Fayetteville car dealership owner. He gifted the family a wheelchair accessible van after the family’s van was destroyed by the March Newnan tornado. This story isn’t just of a man and his business helping a family in need. This is a full circle story of paying it forward. In 2012, Channel 2 Action News told you about a 16-year-old named Chase Burnett. He died after smoking synthetic drugs. Now, nine years later they continue to pay it forward. Kathryn and Paul Pease and their 13-year-old son Ryan were gifted a fully wheelchair accessible van. “It is absolutely an overwhelming blessing,” Kathryn Pease said. “We are so… it’s been an emotional roller coaster the past few weeks. And to have such an outpouring of love and support from the community it’s just, I don’t even know how to express it.” David Burnett, new owner of Fayetteville Ford dealership, was approached by one of his employees with the story of the Pease family. He immediately knew he had to help. “I just feel it is so much better to give than to receive, especially for those that are in need. I’m very honored to do this for this family,” Burnett said. Burnett said he’s thankful his success allows him to give back to the community but knows the tragedy he experienced with his son and the love he received fuels his desire to give. “This has been a God-send because it opens up his world again, and all of ours just to go again as a family,” Kathryn Pease said. Truly a story about loving thy neighbor and paying it forward.
