Sep 2- Labor Day Sidewalk Sale from 9am-5pm. Visitors are invited to walk the downtown streets & browse through blocks of merchandise outside retail locations. Most of these items are on sale! Sep 3- Sunrise on the Square 5K/10K Road Race. The race is a USATF certified course, where runners will enjoy the diversity of terrain, including: long flat stretches, downhill, & uphill sections. The race welcomes both runners & walkers of all skill levels. Runners are given options to pursue a “1 Mile Fun Run,” 5K route, & a 10k route. Sep 16- Fall Art Walk from 5pm-9pm. During the Walk, businesses extend their hours to host store-front exhibits & demonstrations curated by a variety of Newnan’s finest artists. Sep 16- Fall Screen on the Green from 7:30pm-until. The event takes place at the First Avenue Park in Historic Downtown Newnan, where a family-friendly, animated film will be featured in a litter-free, smoke-free environment.
