Holly Longmuir | Managing Director
Our 2025 concluded with a team Christmas celebration at The Cambium in Red Hill, a truly special day in an exceptional setting. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a pocket of calm and restoration, exactly what was needed after a big year. The feedback was unanimous: this is one worth returning to.
Our End of Year Event is always more than just a get-together. It’s a thoughtfully considered celebration shaped by traditions we value. We begin with speeches, taking time to reflect on the year that’s been, acknowledge achievements, celebrate growth and express our appreciation for the dedication and hard work shown across the team.
Following the formalities came one of the highlights of our annual calendar: the MVTM — Most Valuable Team Member award. This recognition is particularly meaningful because it’s determined by our team, for our team. Throughout the year, everyone votes for the colleague who best embodies our values, lifts others up and contributes in ways that truly matter. This year, the outstanding Bella Kiley was the deserving recipient. David and Clayton once again brought the award to life with a Brownlow-style count, building anticipation with energy, humour and storytelling. Their quick wit and reflections had everyone laughing, reminiscing and feeling incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved together.
One of the most powerful moments of the day came when we collectively agreed, without hesitation, that our word for 2026 would be JOY. Not surfacelevel or manufactured joy, but genuine, everyday joy: joy in working together, joy in the small wins, joy in our environment and joy in the way we support one another.
As we move into 2026, we do so with genuine excitement and clear intent. We’re determined to create a year defined by momentum, connection and shared success, one where joy isn’t just a word, but something we experience daily as we continue to grow, thrive and move forward together.
Holly Longmuir

In our real estate work across Balnarring and Flinders, one of the most common questions we’re asked is: “Why are so many properties sold via Expressions of Interest?”
For our team, the answer comes down to structure, clarity and creating the right conditions for a strong outcome, for both sellers and buyers. An Expressions of Interest (EOI) campaign is essentially a Private Sale with a price range and a clear end date. Buyers are given time to inspect the property, do their research and submit their best offer by a nominated closing date. Cooling-off provisions can still apply, which often provides added reassurance and confidence throughout the process.

We value the EOI method because it allows our team to engage multiple buyers at the same time and gain genuine, market-driven feedback on value. In a competitive or rising market, this structured approach ensures all interested parties are working from the same information and timeline, creating a fair and transparent environment where buyers can confidently put forward their strongest position. Once all Expressions are received, we sit down with our clients and carefully review the offers together. From there, we determine the most appropriate next step, whether that’s proceeding with a preferred offer or entering further discussions. The process is designed to feel calm, considered and well-informed, an approach that sits at the heart of how we work.
Much like any high-performance team, the best results come from preparation, timing and composure. The EOI method allows us to bring that discipline into every campaign, working collaboratively to guide our clients through the sales process with confidence and minimal stress.

The Flinders Lions Club continues its commitment to the Peninsula community through two major fundraising events in 2026, both focused on supporting youth wellbeing and health in local schools.
Funds raised from the 38th Charity Golf Day on 2 March 2026 and the 10th Flinders Motoring Heritage event on Easter Sunday 2026 will support carefully identified projects across local primary and secondary schools.
The aim is to assist children and young people who are disengaged or marginalised due to complex family circumstances, helping them stay connected to education and transition back into mainstream learning.

In the past six months, a woman very close to me has faced breast cancer with extraordinary courage and resilience. Seeing her navigate such this uncertainty has made me love and respect her even more.
And then only this week, I caught up with a wonderful man who is also navigating his own diagnosis, reminding me how widely this disease touches lives.
Their strength has deepened my pride in our support of the NBCF and the hope their vital research brings to so many.
If you can, please donate to this incredible / life changing cause.
