Founder’s College at Butler University is different. We’ve designed a way for you to achieve your higher education goals with two-year associate degrees in business, data analytics, healthcare, and youth development—all with little to no cost. WHOLE STUDENT SUPPORT DESIGNED FOR REAL LIFE

As a Founder’s College student, you’ll have a dedicated advisor to make sure you get the support you need to reach your academic, career, and personal goals. Your advisor will help you get easy access to all the tools Butler has to offer, from labs to libraries and much more.

We know students have commitments outside of the classroom. Founder’s College will offer morning or afternoon “block” schedules that will be consistent over the two years. We’ll work with you to find a schedule that fits your life.

AFFORDABILITY

We will package all related costs in one financial plan. Books, instructional materials, a laptop, a meal each day, and transportation will all be part of the financial package. Students commute to campus, eliminating campus housing costs.

ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

Business Data Analytics

You’ll gain skills and certifications needed for careers in business, data analytics, computer programming, and more.

Business Management Studies

Study business and prepare for a career or further coursework in marketing, leadership, economics, and more.

Healthcare Studies–Clinical Science

You’ll be prepared to work with patients— performing laboratory techniques and procedures and also interpreting medical data and lab results.

Healthcare Studies–Medical Coding

Earn lucrative industry certifications as a Certified Professional Coder® and Certified Professional Biller®.

Youth and Community Advocacy

Prepare to make a meaningful impact in education, nonprofit management, and youth development.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

At Founder’s College, our goal is to graduate students with little to no debt, but a lot of possibilities. Through your required submission of the FAFSA, we anticipate you will qualify for Federal Pell Grants and Indiana state aid, which will cover all or nearly all of your tuition and fees. You will also live at home and commute to Butler, reducing your living expenses.

Founder’s College “Fit”

Students who are a good fit for Founder’s College:

› Are interested in a four-year (bachelor’s) degree after Founder’s College

› Have a high school GPA of 2.5–3.0

› Demonstrate financial need

› Live in the central Indiana area and wish to commute

Application Requirements

› Online application

› Short answer writing supplement (200 words or less)

› Official high school transcript showing coursework through junior year

› Submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

› (Optional) Résumé
