SESSION PREVIEW

Session Preview is held before session begins each year, typically in December or January. State senators and representatives provide updates on their priorities and listen to regional concerns.

EVENING AT THE CAPITAL

Held each March at a venue near the Capitol, Evening at the Capital is an opportunity to connect with legislators and other leaders who stop in and visit with attendees, providing a chance to share the issues that matter most to your business and community.

WASHINGTON, D.C. FLY-IN

Each spring, St. Cloud Area Chamber members travel to Washington, D.C. to connect directly with Minnesota’s congressional delegation, federal officials, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Educational programming for busy professionals over the lunch hour. HOSTING OPPORTUNITIES

CHAMBER CONNECTION

Every Friday morning (except holiday weeks) at various locations. Doors open at 7:00 a.m., program runs from 7:30 to 9:00 a.m. Chamber Connection is a fun and informal networking group open to all members of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce. Chamber Connection was started in December 1990. Twenty-two people attended the first meeting, which was held in the basement of the Chamber of Commerce building. Since that time we have grown steadily and now it’s common to have 120 (or more!) attendees gather on Friday mornings for a meeting.

Only members of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce may be hosts and co-hosts for Chamber Connection. Hosts are given 17 minutes to talk about their company or organization and take questions. (In the event that two companies choose to co-host, the 17 minutes must be divided between them.)

WAITE PARK CHAMBER

Third Wednesday of every month. Doors open at 11:15 a.m., program starts at 11:45 a.m. and runs until 1:00 p.m. Location varies. The Waite Park Chamber is a place where business, education, and the government come together for the betterment of the community. Waite Park Chamber keeps members up-to-date on local business issues through monthly meetings and a variety of networking events. All members of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce are also members of the Sauk Rapids Chamber. Monthly meetings bring 80+ local business professionals together for lunch, networking, and a host presentation.

HOSTING WAITE PARK CHAMBER

Only members of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce may be hosts and co-hosts for Waite Park Chamber. Hosts are given 15 minutes to talk about their companies or organizations and 2 minutes to take questions.

HOST RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide lunch and beverages for 70-90 people Prepare and give a business-relevant presentation Offer a minimum of two door prizes for attendees Secure location for the monthly meeting

SAUK RAPIDS CHAMBER

Fourth Thursday of every month. Doors open at 11:15 a.m., program starts at 11:45 a.m. and runs until 1:00 p.m. Located at The Clearing in Sauk Rapids, unless otherwise noted. The Sauk Rapids Chamber promotes a healthy business environment in the community of Sauk Rapids, working in cooperation with member businesses, local government, the public school system, and other community organizations. All members of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce are also members of the Sauk Rapids Chamber. Monthly meetings bring 70+ local business professionals together for lunch, networking, and a host presentation.

HOSTING SAUK RAPIDS CHAMBER

THERE IS NO COST TO HOST The host is responsible for paying for food and drink, but otherwise there is no hosting cost.

Only members of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce may be hosts and co-hosts for Sauk Rapids Chamber. Hosts are given 15 minutes to talk about their companies or organizations and 2 minutes to take questions.

HOST RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide lunch and beverages for 60-80 people Prepare and give a business-relevant presentation Offer a minimum of two door prizes for attendees BONUS: Location is complimentary each month, at The Clearing in Sauk Rapids. Hosts are able to choose an alternate location if desired, cost not included.

BUSINESS SHOWCASE - $100

Share the hosting cost with 7 local businesses. Businesses will get 2 minutes each to present on their business, plus all other host benefits. The Chamber will coordinate the lunch.

ROCK THE RIVER EXPO - $150

This vendor expo is held each summer during the Rock the River Concert Series at The Clearing in Sauk Rapids. Members are invited to purchase booth space during the expo, while Rock the River attendees come and learn more about the Sauk Rapids business community. Vendors are included in website marketing, signage, and social media.

HOSTING OPPORTUNITIES

PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS AFTERDEVELOPMENT HOURS

Booked monthly on the date and time of your choosing (weekdays only) from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. Business After Hours is a monthly networking event for Chamber members, their guests and colleagues. It is open-house style, where people can come and go as they please. There are usually some refreshments, and plenty of networking! Business After Hours takes place from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the host location.

HOSTING BUSINESS AFTER HOURS

Only members of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce may be hosts and co-hosts for Business after Hours. Hosting a Business After Hours is a great way to throw a customer or employee appreciation event, celebrate an anniversary or welcome people to a new location. You are not required to conduct any formal presentation, it is an open house.

Provide appetizers and drinks for 100+ people Secure space, should be casual and include seating areas Prepare space to best promote your business - include printed materials, company information, etc.

SCHOLARSHIPS + WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

Seasonal sponsorship opportunities allow you to choose what works best for you. The Chamber’s foundation supports workforce development initiatives of the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce. In an effort to positively impact the lives of our area youth, the Foundation coordinates youth and employee development opportunities including sponsored scholarships and workforce readiness initiatives, and educates current and future workers about area industries, businesses, and organizations. In 2025, the foundation donated more than $19,600 in cash and in-kind scholarships to 36 students at area high schools and colleges throughout Minnesota.

UNITE FOR SUCCESS SCHOLARSHIPS

Would your organization like to make a lasting impact on the education and the future of a local student? You can establish a scholarship in the name of your company through the St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce. This process allows your organization to play a valuable role in the future of a high school senior by awarding a scholarship, while the Chamber takes care of the administrative process. You can choose to be involved in the selection process, and even choose to present the scholarship at an awards ceremony, when relevant.

CENTRAL MN FARM SHOW SCHOLARSHIPS

The St. Cloud Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to investing in the future of area farmers and agri-business by offering the Central MN Farm Show Agriculture Scholarship to encourage more students to explore fields of study and careers in the agriculture industry. Each year the Farm Show committee’s goal is to award $1000 scholarships to Central Minnesota students.

FOUNDATION DONATION

Members can donate funds to the foundation to allow the Chamber to give out even more scholarships each spring and to support the workforce development needs of Central Minnesota. The Chamber Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3), so donations to the foundation are tax deductible.
