OCTOBER UPDATES Happy Fall to y’all! It’s hard to believe that we are already in October. Now is the time to start pulling out those cozy sweaters and jackets. But who are we kidding? This is Southern California! We hope you can take some time this month to crunch through the fallen leaves during a nice leisurely stroll, whip up a batch of pumpkin chocolate chip cookies, carve a pumpkin, or visit a pumpkin patch with some friends and loved ones! Whatever you do this month, know that you are loved and are always considered a part of the Joslyn/Tuttle family. So come and hang out, meet new friends, and find some new hobbies and interests. One way you can give yourself the opportunity to crunch through the fallen leaves and make some new friends is to join our Monday Fleet Feet Walking Group here at Joslyn! Every week there’s a new route taken, and the best part about it is that you can walk at your own pace alongside others. Have you tried something new at Joslyn or Tuttle lately? If you answered ‘no’, then we encourage you to check out a class you haven’t tried before or attend a presentation that will provide valuable information that you can learn from and apply to your life. It’s never too late to learn something new! As a friendly reminder, please check in at the front desk before entering a class, event, or presentation. It is important that we track who is in the building in case of an emergency, as well as the number of patrons enjoying the programs we are providing. For those of you who participate in morning workout classes, we urge you to arrive early to grab an open seat. Once those seats are full, that indicates the class has reached capacity. Stacked chairs cannot be used. Lastly, we also wanted to remind those who utilize the poolrooms and Cyber Café that those rooms close 30 minutes prior to closing time, seven days a week.
