MARCH UPDATES Spring is right around the corner. The days are becoming longer and warmer and we are looking forward to that. We would like to thank the Sunrise Rotary Club of Burbank once again for sponsoring the Young at Heart performance. The crowd enjoyed the amazing voices of Rat Pack Ricky and 60’s Tribute Group “Remember.” A few of you were even lucky enough to receive a rose. We are already looking forward to next year’s show. Fleet Feet has been amazing to collaborate with. We want to thank Karen who has been doing a great job at leading the outdoor walking group in Monday mornings. Quake Safe and Oakley Law Group will be handing out free emergency kits after their presentation at the Joslyn Adult Center on March 15. Valley Porcelain Artists is bringing back their Mother’s Day Tea event in May. You may purchase tickets for this event from any of their members or the front office starting March 31. A few more services are returning to Joslyn this month. We are fortunate to have Bet Tzedek Legal Services coming to the center once a month. Hearing screenings have also returned to Joslyn.
