This report aims to provide the documentation and historic context necessary to support the preservation of two historically significant nautical vessels in the United States. Through historic research, field documentation, and interpretation, the report provides the knowledge base on which to build future efforts to reactivate SS Columbia and PCPII as cultural institutions on American waterways.
