BÜRGENSTOCK HOTEL & ALPINE SPA AWARDED THREE MICHELIN KEYS FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR Obbürgen, 23 September 2026: In 2026, Bürgenstock Hotel & Alpine Spa is once again among the ten hotels in Switzerland to be awarded three MICHELIN Keys. The 5* Superior hotel therefore retains its place in the highest category of the MICHELIN Guide’s hotel selection. Three MICHELIN Keys signify an extraordinary stay and recognise hotels that offer an exceptional overall experience, distinctive character, and outstanding quality in architecture, service and comfort.
When MICHELIN first launched the MICHELIN Keys in 2024, Bürgenstock Hotel & Alpine Spa received three MICHELIN Keys in the inaugural selection, placing it in the highest category of the new hotel distinction. The hotel retained this top rating in 2025. With the award of three MICHELIN Keys once again in 2026, Bürgenstock Hotel & Alpine Spa continues this success story.
The assessment is based on five internationally consistent criteria: the hotel’s contribution to the local experience, excellence in architecture and interior design, quality and consistency of service and comfort, individuality and character, and the relationship between the quality of the experience and the price. At the heart of the evaluation is the guest experience as a whole.
