A SPACE FOR VISION BECOMES REALITY – BÜRGENSTOCK EVENT DOMES CELEBRATE SPECTACULAR OPENING Obbürgen, 17. April 2026 – With an impressive launch event, Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne officially opened the new Bürgenstock Event Domes on 16 April 2026 under the theme “The Future of Experience”. In front of hundreds of guests from business, media, and the events industry, the new event destination was experienced for the first time, setting a strong benchmark for the future of Switzerland’s MICE market.
An Opening That Connects Spaces and Experiences The opening event showcased the versatility as well as the event expertise of Bürgenstock Resort Lake Lucerne through a clearly guided dramaturgy. The staging led guests from initial encounters, through the official ceremony, to dinner and artistically designed moments that flowed seamlessly into one another. At the same time, internationally sought-after artists presented impressive highlights.
Among the highlights were a spectacular flying piano act by Art of Show, magical performances by internationally award-winning magicians, street art performances from France by Remue Menage, as well as productions by international artists such as Pavel Kotov from Cirque du Soleil. With this opening, Bürgenstock Resort impressively demonstrated its expertise in event design, immersive experiences, and “The Future of Experience.”
Dominik Stalder, Hotel Manager of Bürgenstock Resort, was responsible for the concept and execution of the Event Domes. As the driving force behind the idea, he played a decisive role in shaping the vision of a holistic event format and influenced its development from the very beginning. His experience in delivering international large-scale events, including the Summit on Peace in Ukraine, flows directly into the concept of new event formats.
Collaboration with international creatives also played a central role. The world-renowned Belgian designer Charles Kaisin was responsible for the overall artistic design of the opening event and
