OurstudentsfromWycombeandAylesburyCampushaverecentlytaken partinanexcitingandimmersiveMajorIncidentSimulationat BuckinghamshireRailwayCentre.
Learnersgainedinvaluablehandsonexperiencebyworkingthrougha realisticemergencyscenarioalongsideambulance,fireandpolice professionals.PublicServicesstudentsledtheresponseandcoordinated teams,whileHealthcarestudentstriagedandtreatedcasualtiesplayed byfellowstudents.SpecialEffectsMakeUpstudentsenhancedthe realismoftheexercisebycreatingconvincinginjuriesandtraumaeffects, helpingtoreplicatereallifeemergencyconditions.ForensicScience studentstheninvestigatedthescene,collectingandloggingevidence usingprofessionalmethods.
Theeventallowedstudentstoapplytheirlearninginarealworldsetting, developteamworkandcommunicationskills,andbuildconfidence.Itwas anengagingandinspiringexperiencethathighlightedourstudents’ enthusiasmanddedicationtotheirfutureprofessions.
