WELCOME TO BRONCOLIFE 2.0! ONCE A BRONCO, ALWAYS A BRONCO

We’re proud to introduce the BroncoLife 2 0 Quarterly Newsletter, your inside look at how Boise State Athletics is preparing student-athletes for life after sport. By sharing these updates, we aim to show how your support helps us ready student-athletes to succeed in their careers, lead in their communities, and carry the Bronco spirit wherever they go.

Each edition will spotlight programming that builds interpersonal and professional skills, strengthens financial literacy and develops leadership attributes both on and off the field You’ll also see how BroncoLife is creating meaningful opportunities for student-athletes to engage with the Boise community and form connections that last well beyond their playing days.

These connections reinforce our belief: Once a Bronco, Always a Bronco.

Which brings us to a new partnership with Varsity B and bringing studentathlete development and alumni engagement under the same direction This collaboration marks an important step forward in creating an intentional, seamless and unified experience that supports Broncos during their time on campus and long after graduation.

As part of this collaboration, we are launching a new mentorship program that pairs current student-athletes with Varsity B alumni This initiative will provide Broncos with valuable guidance, career insight and real-world perspectives as they prepare for life beyond sport, all while giving alumni a purposeful and meaningful way to stay connected and invest in the next generation of Broncos.

SAAC LEADERSHIP RETREAT

The summer wrapped with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) gathering representatives together to begin work on their personal growth and collaboration as student leaders in the Department

Student-athletes explored their individual leadership styles through interactive activities, then met in groups to discuss how those strengths could benefit both their teams and the greater studentathlete population.

The retreat emphasized practical ways to “show up” as leaders—whether that’s fostering accountability and effective communication, building inclusive environments or helping SAAC drive meaningful initiatives for all Broncos
