Children and Family Centre Activity Guide

Page 1

This booklet shares a range of activities and services planned to run in our Children and Family Centres up to March 2027. During this year, we will be rebranding and the Children and Family Centres will become Family Hubs.

Things can change from time to time, so while we’ve done our best to make sure everything is correct when creating this booklet, it isn’t an exhaustive list and some details may be updated.

If you’d like to check the latest information, just get in touch with the relevant Children and Family Centre, they’ll be happy to let you know about any changes or new activities.

If you have a generic question you can contact the Bromley Children Project Admin Team...

Positive Touch Infant Massage

Positive touch infant massage is a nurturing, structured way of communicating through specific strokes and massage techniques that support bonding and secure attachment between parents and babies. It can help babies by improving sleep, aid digestion (reducing colic), boost circulation, and enhance body awareness. For parents, it can lower stress and anxiety, build confidence, and deepen understanding of their baby’s needs and cues.

The programme is a four-week course delivered by the Bromley Healthcare Health Visiting Service.
