FROM GIVING UP TO INSPIRING OTHERS Analieze Bella Newton (formerly Analieza Marcelino Gallardo) was born in Pateros Rizal on 25 August 1968 and lived in Ibayo Ususan, Taguig City, Philippines. Analieze studied at Ususan Elementary School and graduated secondary school at Southern Rizal Institute. She studied two years in Secretarial and Business Administration in Pasig Catholic College. Analieze migrated to Australia to be reunited with her mother in 1986. She studied Secretarial and Business Administration at Cambridge Business College in Hurstville in 1988. Analieze resides in West Ryde in New South Wales, Australia and is a proud single mother to her son, Sean. Analieze is a community volunteer and works as a Personal Assistant at Chamberlain Law Firm in Sydney, Australia. Analieze entered her first National pageant at 49 years and won. She is a lifetime Ambassador for Miss & Mr. Diamond International & Australia. In April 2021, Analieze was awarded the highest honor of Honorary Queen of Diamonds International. My name is Analieze, and I am the eldest of five siblings of Elena Salvo Marcelino and Conrado Gallardo. My siblings are Mary Ann, Florie, Conrad and Niki. I grew up in the poor village of Ibayo in Ususan Taguig. Growing up poor didn’t bother me simply because I didn’t know any better. I recall we were the first to have electricity connected in Ibayo and Inang (grandmother) waited for all of us to get home from school that day to turn the switch on for the first time. We were very excited. I was 12 years old. We used to call our parents Mama and Papa until one day, I went to buy something from the local store on credit, the store lady said I shouldn’t be calling my parents Mama and Papa as those are names only for rich people, so since then our mother told us to call her Nanay instead, but we didn’t stop addressing our father as Papa. It was a challenge for my parents to provide for us as I recall my siblings and I were traveling back and forth to live with our Inang in Ibayo, at times because she was concerned, we didn’t have enough to eat. I do not have many memories of my father but the ones I do remember of him were loving and special. My parents eventually went their separate ways, and we were left to be cared for by Inang. My mother did her best to provide for us on her own until she migrated to Australia in 1981 and remarried and we had lost contact with our father. After about 20 years, we learned our father was working in Saudi Arabia for many years and supporting his daughter from his previous marriage and her children. We wondered if he ever thought about us or not. When we eventually reconnected with him, all we wanted was to see him again. My siblings were fortunate to see him after all the years gone by, but he passed away before I could save enough money to go back to Manila to see him again.
I was devastated to learn of his passing and the fact I didn’t even get to say goodbye. My Journey It hasn’t been easy since my last failed marriage in 2014 and I often find myself questioning my existence and my worth and not feeling confident within myself. I was at the lowest point of my life, and one day, I was watching a breakfast TV show and a lady looking glamorous, happy and proud wearing a crown and sash was sharing her experience of becoming a beauty Queen. It was at that moment I asked myself “What’s stopping me from doing this?”. I opened Google and searched for pageants in Australia and the result came back with Miss & Mr Diamond International & Australia, based in Brisbane and the Directors are mother-daughter, Morgan Mancini and Charlie Mancini. This is a pageant where there is no age, height or weight restrictions – and I thought to myself “Yep! I’m in”. I wasted no time and filled out the entry form and two weeks later, I received a letter saying my application was accepted. The rest as they say is history. I entered my first pageant at 49 years at Miss & Mr. Diamond International & Australia in Classic which I won. I also won Miss Media Queen, Miss Publicity Queen and Miss Fundraiser Queen awards and a medal for my fundraising efforts for my chosen charity to support and raise awareness. For me, entering my first National pageant at 49 was, indeed, a life-changing experience. Since winning my first National title, I have been involved in a large number of events involving pageants which I either participated in or judged. Along the way, I have inspired many of the other participants to give it their all and most of all, enjoy themselves along the way. I love spending time, in particular, with the younger kids and contestants and encourage them to be confident and have lots of fun. It reminds me of how far I have come. I love to inspire people of all ages to just believe in themselves and have a go at whatever might be holding them back and just do their very best. I have met many wonderful people through the pageant circuits and have assisted a number of people along the way. I have also provided financial assistance and even loaned my dresses to other contestants so they can also pursue their dreams and be part of the pageant world. I continue to inspire others so that we can all be amazing and beautiful regardless of our age and there is nothing we cannot accomplish, if only we allowed ourselves to be free and do what our hearts desire. I am positive, inspiring and a role model, and the difference my journey has made in so many other people’s lives, are attributes that I pride myself on and guard jealousy. WWW.VIVYDMAGAZINE.COM

The first appearance of thin high heels in female shoes can be traced to the late 19th and early 20th century, when some females started wearing it more as a symbol of sex and femininity. Solid evidence of their existence came in 1940s when photographers captured images of singer Parisian singer Mistinguett with her thin heeled and tall shoes that were created by famous French shoe designer André Perugia.
