About me 01

My name is Briyanah, and I am a third year Landscape Architecture student at Birmingham City University. I am passionate about sustainable practices and integrating nature into urban design to create vibrant, resilient spaces. My goal is to address urbanization challenges by designing green spaces that enhance biodiversity, mitigate climate change, and reconnect communities. I aim to develop my skills further to become an advanced landscape architect, fostering connections with nature and promoting environmental awareness through my work.

This project was based on a site of our choice. I selected Brandhall Green Space, located in Oldbury. The site has been abandoned by the council, which now plans to redevelop it into a residential area. My design aims to transform the space for recreational purposes, enabling existing residents and communities to reconnect with nature while enhancing the existing ecology.
