FRIDAY 31 JULY 2026, 4 PM TO 8 PM

It is a pleasure to welcome you to Brisbane Girls Grammar School’s Open Day to learn more about our tradition of educating girls and young women, for over 150 years, to lead lives enriched by learning.
This year marks a significant milestone, as our new Junior School joins the Open Day program for the first time. Opened in January for students in Years 5 and 6, it extends a Girls Grammar education into the primary years, with thoughtfully designed learning environments that nurture curiosity, imagination and intellectual confidence.
Across all Year levels, the Girls Grammar ethos is clear. Our broad, liberal approach to education encourages students to think critically, act with integrity and engage meaningfully with the world. This philosophy is reflected not only in our consistently strong academic results, but also in the breadth of our co-curricular and service programs.
Supported by expert teachers and a connected community, Girls Grammar students are encouraged to pursue their passions with purpose and determination, guided by our motto, Nil sine labore—nothing without effort. In this environment, young women develop confidence and resilience, equipping them to lead lives of purpose, contribution and fulfillment.
We hope you enjoy Open Day and the opportunity to meet our students, staff and community, and to experience the strength and spirit of Girls Grammar.
