School holiday fun Keeping Brisbane moving Better Suburbs Grants
Making Brisbane's lifestyle even better: Lord Mayor Brisbane is Australia’s lifestyle capital and continues to capture global attention as one of the best places in the world to live and visit. Parks and playgrounds create more to see and do in the suburbs and we’ll be opening Brisbane’s newest park during the September school holidays. Archerfield Wetlands District Park is being transformed from a wastewater treatment plant to a destination parkland, with an adventure playground at the heart of our transformation. We’re also progressing our Victoria Park Vision with a new community space open at the Spring Hill Common and a new scooter and cycling track to open in the coming months.
