KEEPING OUR KIDS SAFER: LORD MAYOR Over the summer, families have been taking advantage of our fantastic climate and enjoying the great parks across Brisbane. But enjoying our outdoor lifestyle comes with the risk of sun exposure. That’s why we’re delivering the Sun Safe Suburban Playgrounds program across Brisbane. Last year, we confirmed the first 41 playgrounds to receive shade covers under the three-year program that ensures every playground in Brisbane has shade. This important investment is just one of the projects we’re delivering this year, including major road and transport upgrades.
