Set on a beautiful 50+ acre campus in the heart of Brentwood, TN, BA serves students in grades 6 through 12. Our highly skilled faculty members, who are committed to Christ, encourage students to pursue excellence in a wide range of interests. MY BA STORY
LAUREN FREEMAN, BA ALUMNUS

Academics
Committed to delivering an exceptional academic experience in a Christ-centered environment, Brentwood Academy faculty further the mission to nurture and challenge each whole person by providing instruction and building relationships with students in smaller classroom settings. As a college-preparatory school, BA offers 46 honors and 23 AP classes, allowing students to pursue honors and AP courses in multiple disciplines. Our curriculum and schedule are designed much like a college format, allowing for a deeper exploration of topics during class time.
College Counseling
Led by an experienced team, Brentwood Academy’s college counseling office, helps students take their next steps beyond BA. BA’s counseling curriculum is shaped by four guiding principles: cultivating a highly individualized process, empowering students to confidently lead, serving a wide range of student aspirations, and fostering a culture that celebrates everyone’s success and God-given talents.
Academic Support
Dedicated academic support staff at Brentwood Academy empower students to take ownership of their academic and learning journey, promoting a philosophy of individual responsibility and encouraging each student to value and contribute to his or her educational experience. The academic support team provides curated learning environments and tutoring services for BA students, as well as multiple avenues of support and classroom accommodations for those who qualify. Students develop the skills needed to reach their own individual academic goals.
Christian Life
Christian life at Brentwood Academy equips students with a biblical foundation as they engage with the gospel and offers a multitude of experiences to develop faith. Our Bible department provides classes for every grade level, and all Brentwood Academy faculty and staff have an intentional, growing relationship with Christ, striving for biblical integration across all subjects. Outside of the classroom, our students participate in daily devotions, attend weekly chapel, and have the opportunity to gather for student-led worship and Bible studies throughout the year. We love seeing our students take ownership of their faith and always support initiative in this area.
DISCOVER CHRISTIAN LIFE

Fine Arts
Brentwood Academy’s fine arts department develops each student’s talents, offering opportunities for creative expression while recognizing God as the ultimate Creator. Our students have the unique and valuable opportunity to learn from faculty with real-world and professional performance experience in their disciplines.
Brentwood Academy provides more than 30 performance and visual arts opportunities for students in both middle and upper school, ranging from 2D and 3D art classes to choral and instrumental ensembles to theatre.
In addition to pursuing fine arts as a course of study, there are many extra-curricular offerings for students to be involved in outside of class.
ACADEMY SINGERS
The Academy Singers are Brentwood Academy’s premier auditioned vocal ensemble. In addition to a showcase performance in the spring, the group records an in-studio album and music video each year. Scan the QR code to see a performance.

Athletics
Brentwood Academy’s athletic program builds character by teaching the value of committing to a goal, practicing personal discipline, and prioritizing team contribution over individual success.
Participation in athletics (over 60 offerings) is required for each student as we live out the commitment to our mission to nurture and challenge each whole person – body, mind, and spirit – to the glory of God.
With a legacy of excellence in athletics, our graduates often continue these endeavors beyond BA. Currently, BA has nearly 100 alumni playing collegiately and 11 in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and CFL.
