The Breman, Midtown’s museum and cultural center dedicated to sharing the richness of Jewish culture with Atlanta’s diverse audiences, will host the first Atlanta Jewish Storytelling Festival on November 16 and 17.
Beginning Saturday evening and running all day Sunday, the festival celebrates the art of storytelling across generations and cultures. Performances and workshops will explore stories that connect, inspire and foster cultural awareness within the Jewish community and beyond.
Internationally acclaimed storyteller Noa Baum is the featured artist for the first Atlanta Jewish Storytelling Festival. Baum will conduct a storytelling workshop, perform an adaptation of a Burmese folktale that’s the basis of her new children’s book How the Birds Became Friends, host other sessions and sign books.
