As we move into Autumn 2026, we are pleased to present a carefully curated line-up of sires that reflect the continued evolution of Breeder Genetics. Each sire within this directory has been rigorously assessed, not only for their individual merit, but for their ability to deliver consistent, long-term value across commercial and seedstock operations alike within the Australian environment and marketplace.

The past 12 months have further reinforced the strength of the global beef landscape. Australian exports reached record levels in 2025, exceeding 1.5 million tonnes, with export value pushing past $18 billion. This has been underpinned by strong international demand and a willingness from key markets to pay for a reliable, high-quality product. At the same time, global supply remains constrained, with the US cattle herd at multi-decade lows and slaughter numbers continuing to decline, while production in other major exporting regions like South America are expected to plateau. These shifts have created a favourable position for Australian producers heading into 2026 as the demand for high quality protein continues to rise globally.

Domestically, the sector remains on solid footing. The gross value of Australia’s cattle and beef industry is forecast to sit around $22–23 billion, with cattle prices expected to lift as supply tightens. Processor demand has remained consistent for well-finished cattle, and feeder markets continue to be supported by strong grainfed programs. At the same time, seasonal variability across parts of the country has sharpened the focus on cattle that perform and are fit for purpose, reinforcing the importance of genetics in driving profitability.

This Autumn 2026 update brings three new Australian bulls to the forefront. Sprys Union U576 leads the group, offering frame, length and muscle with excellent softness, movement and maternal backing from the proven Nightingale cow family. Booroomooka Utah U670 follows with genuine power and foot quality, underpinned by strong growth, fertility and marbling. Knowla Verified V66 completes the lineup, an exciting young sire combining elite phenotype, structural integrity, docility and athleticism with the power of the Designer cow family. Millah Murrah Valentino V414 joined us in late spring 2025 and has quickly established himself as one of the most sought-after young sires in the country.

For Breeders, By Breeders.

The gap between average and the elite continues to widen, making sire selection a long-term decision, where getting it right compounds value across generations. Our focus remains on identifying and sourcing bulls that not only meet today’s market, but are aligned with where the industry is heading - cattle that are balanced, functional, adaptable and capable of delivering in the paddock through to the processor and end consumer.

As we move into the Autumn 2026 breeding season, we remain committed to providing genetics that perform with purpose, backed by insight, experience and a genuine understanding of commercial outcomes.

• Sprys Union U576 topped the 2025 Sprys Angus Sale, selling to Gilmandyke Angus, recognised for his combination of phenotype, pedigree and balanced data. A larger framed, powerful and longer bodied bull, Union offers excellent muscle expression, depth of body and natural softness, with an excellent skin and hair type, he moves freely and is very docile in temperament. He’s the kind of style, balance and structural integrity that works in the paddock and adds value on the supply chain.

• Backed by the consistent Nightingale cow family, his dam Sprys-W Nightingale S588 is a long-bodied, larger framed female with an excellent udder and teat size. The granddam was Gerald Spry’s selection from the Coolana dispersal, being a daughter of the influential donor Coolana Nightingale D136, who was purchased by Mandayen Angus. On the topside, Union has the proven Aarden Angus donor, Blackbird Q4, further strengthening the maternal depth from both sides of the pedigree.

• With pedigree strength, balanced data and an impressive physical presence, Sprys Union U576 represents the type of modern Angus sire we look to source, combining phenotype, performance and maternal backing to drive profitability in any herd.

• Valentino V414 set the pace as the $200,000, top priced bull at Millah Murrah’s 2025 sale, selling to Stradbroke Angus Stud at Coolah NSW. He led the Millah Murrah Trigger T308 sire group, where all nine sons sold to average over $87,000. In the process, he set a new yearling record price for Millah Murrah, breaking the $180,000 mark set by his father in 2023.

• Objectively sound across every trait, Valentino is phenotypically spot on, with an ideal mid maturity pattern and natural thickness. His superb docility, strong head, and elegant profile, with beautiful head carriage, are matched by a smooth, athletic gait, rock-solid feet, and optimal skeletal angles. Even in the finer details Valentino excels, with a perfectly even set of testes, measuring 40cm at 13 months, with a neat sheath, lovely soft hair type and zero white markings.

• Owning a deep Australian pedigree of genuine strength, with no Northern hemisphere genetics evident for several generations, Valentino is the product of a rising donor from the famous Flower cow line. His heritage also blends the proven strength of the acclaimed Millah Murrah Abigail, Brenda, and Prue cow families. With the legendary Flower N30 contributing as paternal great grand dam, Valentino’s background is stacked with the maternal quality and consistency that has put Millah Murrah on the global Angus map.

We have patiently waited and studied the Thompson family’s program at Millah Murrah, knowing that one day, the right opportunity would emerge. For us, it was never about simply adding a Millah Murrah bull, but about selecting one that truly aligned with our philosophy and longterm vision. Valentino V414 represents that moment, the sire we have been waiting for.
Jack Laurie, Breeder Genetics

A sire with no weakness. The brilliance of Valentino is his balance & the widespread application he offers. He is a perfect choice for the vast array of modern Australian, and indeed global Angus bloodlines.

Ross Thompson, Millah Murrah

I saw the bull as a true phenotypic standout with depth of pedigree, balanced data & massive sire appeal. At this point in our programme, we were at a crossroads - either continue the same path or take our stud to the next level. With the injection of Valentino V414 into our already established Millah Murrah cow base I believe the genetic gains ahead of us will be enormous. This bull represents the direction we want to take - combining proven maternal strength with elite sire power.

• Booroomooka Utah U670 was a highlight of the 2025 Booroomooka Sale, selling to the Paterson family of Heart Angus for $50,000. A bull with real power, presence and structural integrity, U670 is deep-bodied, long-spined and carries genuine muscle expression. He combines excellent skin and hair type, docility and capacity with the foot quality to match.

• Genetically, U670 backs up his physical performance with a balanced EBV profile, offering strong growth, fertility and carcass merit in one package. His data shows impressive performance through the growth traits while maintaining excellent carcass quality, particularly for marbling. It is rare to find a bull that combines this level of power, muscle and marbling while maintaining such overall balance.

• Dam, Wavelet Q467 is a fertile, functional dam that displays plenty of capacity and constitution in a moderate frame and has successfully bred back to AI again. Backed by the proven Booroomooka program, Utah U670 represents phenotype, performance and profitability working together, offering breeders the opportunity to inject power, capacity and carcass quality into their programs. U670 is the kind of bull that stands for a photo every time he pulls up, the type that commands attention and simply makes you stop and look.

• Knowla Verified V66 is an exciting young sire that brings together type, pedigree, structural quality and genuine sire presence in a very complete package. From a performance standpoint, Verified stood out early, being the heaviest weaned bull of the Autumn 2023 drop, consistently ranking at the very top of his contemporary group. He is a bull with good feet, very good skin and hair type, a quiet docile nature and a real athleticism about him, moving like a cat with freedom and purpose.

• Verified stems from the powerful Designer cow family, the most influential maternal lines in the Knowla program. His dam, Knowla Designer R10, is an impressive young donor female, feminine, clean fronted, long bodied and backed by a beautiful udder. She is a direct daughter of Designer L21, the dam of the $190,000 Knowla So Right S48, and a female whose daughters have consistently entered the Knowla donor program.

• Sired by the $240,000 Landfall Signature S1755, Verified V66 offers breeders a powerful blend of proven maternal cow power, proven performance and modern carcass genetics in a balanced, sound and complete package. With his presence, movement, structural integrity and overall quality, Verified is the kind of young sire that demands your attention and looks every bit the bull with a big future ahead.

• The standout young sire from our June 2025 US trip and easily one of the most complete bulls we inspected. Honcho demands attention for his sire appeal, Angus character, and combination of length, growth, and functional build. Recently in the 2026 Baldridge Sale, Honcho was the lead sire group with 25 sons averaging $17,500 USD, $2,737 or 19% up on the sale average.

• He was the top seller at the 2024 Henke Angus sale, selling to Baldridge Angus, where he has since been used heavily. Upon inspection, his foot shape and depth is ideal, as well as his angle and set to his hock. He moves with impressive ease and agility and has a calm, easy-going nature.

• His great-granddam lived to be nearly 16 years of age, and his granddam is still active as an 11 year old. His dam, Blackbird 0215, had Honcho as a first calf heifer, but sadly passed unexpectedly after her second heifer calf, who has been retained in herd.

• Honcho’s pedigree is stacked with proven maternal and performance sires, and we expect his daughters to reflect the same maternal strength, especially udder quality, as seen in the Blackbird cow line. His width, structure, and muscle expression, matched with his longevity and maternal backing, make him a unique prospect this season.

• MSC Blanton 889K7 is a complete all rounder backed by some of the most elite Brangus genetics. Inspected and identified on our June 2025 USA trip, he was a true phenotypic standout – slick coated, structurally sound, with a serious amount of meat & muscle!

• Built from a powerhouse pedigree including sires like Monument, Profit, Boulder, Overload and Rockstar. Combines the breed’s most respected maternal lines – 8889P4, 541U, 111U25 & 403Y – into one complete genetic package.

• Blanton represents next-level performance for calving ease, growth, positive fats, marbling and ribeye area. Blanton 889K7 brings both elite phenotype and function – a bull that ticks all the boxes!
