Some are grounded and genuinely valuable. Collective field awareness, tuning into the emotional and energetic atmosphere of a group or place, is real empathy and attunement, and it sharpens discernment and the capacity to steady a room. Energy practices, breathwork, sound, movement like qi gong, reliably calm the nervous system and lift wellbeing for the one who does them, whatever account one gives of the energy. Mirroring, reflecting others' states without distortion, is real attunement that stabilizes relationship. And breath is a genuine regulator of one's own state.
