By GARY J. GROMAN, Independent Journalist I was dozing in a bed at Cox Medical Center in Branson (Cox), recovering from a fall and other challenges. I woke up to a voice at the foot of my bed saying something about “my virtual nurse.” As my eyes came into focus, I saw a woman in scrubs standing next to a computer monitor with the face of a smiling woman, sitting at a desk and looking into my eyes. The woman introduced herself as Suzanne Moore Davis, [RN, BSN], my “Virtual Nurse” and the woman in scrubs as Georgia, a Unit Assistant. [I would be remiss if I did not point out that on more than one occasion Davis stresses how amazing Georgia is.] Davis is a medical professional with eight years in the medical field, the last five of which have been in nursing. Davis said she was part of the Virtual Nursing program that Cox
