Boosted by golf’s growing popularity, the city of Palo Alto could add a second deck and 170-foot nets to its driving range by the Baylands. Golf Superintendent Lam Do pitched the expansion to the Parks and Recreation Commission on Tuesday. Do said 27 unshaded stalls on the ground floor often fill up, and advanced golf club designs and player skills have sent balls flying over the 80-foot nets.
