The race for California governor appears to be down to three candidates vying for two spots in the November runoff, based on the final Emerson College/Inside California Politics poll ahead of tomorrow’s primary. Former Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, a Democrat, leads the field with 28% support among likely voters, followed by fellow Democrat and billionaire Tom Steyer at 22% and Republican commentator Steve Hilton at 21%.
