Any reproductive injuries need to be examined by a veterinarian within 48 hours of injury. Quick treatment can cure many problems. Injuries not checked and treated promptly will not qualify for 50% coverage. A letter from your vet will be requested. All guarantees will be covered by a satisfactory bull replacement, if available, or credit on a future bull purchase for the amount covered. Reminder - you keep the salvage value.

We reserve a 1/3 semen interest in all bulls selling. Bulls we plan to collect prior to delivery are indicated in the catalog or will be announced on sale day.

Trucking will be provided by Raile’s to central points within a 300 mile radius. Reasonable fee for over 300 miles. Take home credit of �75/bull if picked up on sale day or Tuesday, March 31st, at the sale site. Pick-up credit is on bulls only.

Cattlemen, friends and neighbors welcome to our 37th Annual production sale. As we began 2026 our family entered into its fifty-sixth year in Charolais seedstock production and out twentieth year raising Red Angus.
We continue to focus our genetics on phenotypically correct and fertile cattle that are extremely sound with excellent disposition. In addition to strong maternal genetics, our bulls are built for performance and carcass weight. EPDs are in the top 25% for growth and carcass traits.
The cattle industry has placed much more emphasis on how cattle yield along with how cattle grade. Now is an excellent time for you, the producer, to reap the benefits of the hybrid vigor created by using the influence of Charolais or Charolais cross bulls. Research has proven that Charolais sired cattle yield and grade very well. With an increase in carcass weights, Charolais genetics are in demand by the packers.

Again, this year we are offering a select set of 16 high-caliber Charolais x Red Angus replacement heifers. They will sell individually, as unregistered, commercial halfblood females. We’ve offered halfblood heifers every year and consistently receive excellent feedback. These females can be registered upon request and are built for long term production in any program
Lots 70–74 are halfblood females sired by Leachman Freeride and backed by some of our top Red Angus cows. Freeride was a sire we used in our AI program in spring 2024, and these daughters reflect his maternal quality, structure, and real world functionality.
Lots 75–85 are sired by our Fink 0336 bull and out of a strong set of Red Angus cows. This group shows the uniformity, muscle, and maternal quality we expect from this mating. These cattle offer dependable, practical performance.

Purchased in partnership with Leachman Cattle of Wyoming in the fall of 2024, Lockdown has developed into an absolute beast. We are confident his first calves will be a highlight of our 2027 sale and a turning point for our program.
