It is with much excietment that we welcome you to the Performance on the Platte Bull Sale.
This year is a special one as it marks our 10th Anniversary. In the past 10 years, we have marketed over 630 bulls, selling into 18 different states and 1 Canadian Providence — with the majority staying within 200 miles of home. Since the beginning, we have been blessed with a core group of repeat buyers who, year after year, have placed their trust in our genetics. Having built these kinds of relationships over the last decade means a tremendous amount to us, and for that we are incredibly grateful.
We feel we have bred into our herds the right kind of cattle to truly impact the Beef Industry with a balanced selection of calving ease, impressive growth and strong carcass traits. This year’s bull offering is very reflective of that goal. As you page through the catalog, you will notice that many of the sires we are using represent the “Best of the Best” that we have offered in previous sales. With intention, we have used them in volume, incorporating them into our A.I. and E.T. programs. Our approach to breeding is a calculated measure. Using tools like genomics, EPDs and good old fashioned cowboy sense to select and build genetics that will move each mating forward, our focus is not centered only around advancing our own cow herds, but also producing a product that benefits both our customer and the beef industry.
Charolais genetics are extremely right for the times as the industry looks for more yield, growth, efficiency and quality. We periodically receive calls from feedyards, order buyers, and branded beef programs with strong interest in sourcing Charolais influenced feeder cattle. This year the cow-calf sector is seeing profitability like we have never seen in our lifetime. Now is the time to go out and buy the genetics that will positively impact your herd’s future.
We hope you can join us on February 16th for our largest offering to date. Come view 129 lots of Purebred Charolais, Red Factor, and Golden Gainer Charolais Hybrid bulls. We believe you’ll find quality, power and consistency from the first pen to the last. If you are unable to join us in person, you can watch and bid online through Superior Livestock. Please let us know if you have any questions and we will be happy to assist you.
Sincerely,
The Rennert and Meier Families

GRAND FINALE 560N
GHC GRANDVIEW 9032 P Sire of Lots 1 - 7
— This year we are leading off the sale with a big finish — RENN Grand Finale 560N! He is sired by CCR GHC Grandview 9032 P whom we can’t say enough great things about. Grandview is out of M6 Ms New Germaine 484 P, a female who has created immense demand for and value in her offspring. His dam and maternal grand dam have been consistent & productive females as well. We feel Grandview 9032 P is the most practical and best breeding son 484 P produced to date. Grand Finale is a combination of the best of both parents, offering moderate birth weight and
and
growth with muscle and style. He carries himself with with
while offering strong performance.
— This is an impressive ET bull calf. A son of Grandview and out of our Fink 6301 donor (who never misses no matter what we breed her to). This is a wide-bodied bull who is big topped, soggy and sound. Genomically he is a powerhouse that is strong from calving ease to growth and carcass. We have retained 3 full sisters in our replacement pen that are phenomenal. We could write a book about this bull and how much we like him. It would be best to come and see him for yourself.

LOTS 8 - 9 || FULL ET BROTHERS
A nicely crafted mating between the $48,000 ABS Stud Sire JMAR Jefferson 8M11 and of our prolifi c RENN Wolf Whistle 007H donor. Jefferson is making his mark in the breed and industry in his fi rst couple calf crops. Wolf Whistle is leaving her mark as well. She is the dam of our calving ease sire, RENN Full Tilt 2007, who you will see sons of later in the catalog. We recently sold 3 full sisters to this mating our Maternal Legacies Female Sale that averaged $5,083 as open heifers. These two full brothers bring a lot of powerful muscle shape in a cool design and package. They both have a very strong genomic profi les that are balanced for calving ease, high growth and exceptional carcass merit, whith multiple traits ranking in the top 10% of the breed or higher. Both of these bulls are highly interesting!

— A Hosea son out of one of the first Cowboy Romeo daughters in production that calved at 2 years old. This bull is out of the same cow line as Lot 1, going back to the Zsa Zsa 7697 cow family. This bull ranks in the top 20% for BW and Marbling, top 25% for WW and top 35% for Carcass Weight. 550N is a medium sized bull with expressive muscle shape and body capacity.
1806
— This bull is out of a first calf heifer who got him over 700 lbs at weaning time. He ranks in the top 10% for marbling and top 25% for BW.
Out of a 5 year old cow who did a great job raising her son to a 107 WW Ratio. 5043 has performed well on test gaining 5.5 lbs/day. Ranks top 3% Marbling, top 20% for BW and top 40% for WW and TSI.

HEART-J Hosea 5072
— Out of a larger than average 5 year old cow. His dam calved with no issues and raised him to be above average with a 104 WW Ratio. Hosea offspring are known for their marbling genetics and this guy ranks in the top 4% of the breed.

— Hosea son out of a 5 year old Royce daughter. The Royce’s have been very productive cattle. His maternal grand dam, N7108, was a Dam of Distinction. This guy was above average in his contemporary group at weaning with a ratio of 105. He had a 104 YW Ratio and gained very strong at 5.2 lbs/day.

Likewise, we are always willing to assist you when marketing your calves - no matter how you sell them. Whether in load lots, or smaller groups, we have a nework of order buyers specifically interested in acquiring Charolais and Char-influenced feeder calves. Before you are ready to market your caves, don’t hesitate to give us a call.
— A growthy son of Gun Runner who had a 107 WW Ratio, 105 YW Ratio and ranks in the top 8% for WW and 15% for YW. He had a strong test gain at 5.1. He is out of a 3 year old who had him with no assistance. He is registered as a 93% Charolais but is a purebred that goes back to the great Heart-J 177 cow who was unregistered but was one of the best cows on the ranch for many years as she left at around 15 years old.
— Out of a really good Front Range dam who is 7 years old and got this guy to a 103 WW Ratio and then went on to be above average at yearling with a 103 YW Ratio. He is a top gainer on test at 4.3 lbs/day. Strong growth and well above average for muscle. This is a pretty good rascal here.

Sire: Dam:
— This is a really good cowman’s kind of bull. We like him. He has a good weaning weight with a 105 WW Ratio and a 107 for YW Ratio. He gained well, has stayed healthy and has a good muscular look with plenty of length. Genomically he excellent for Weaning in the top 3% and Yearling in the top 6% with a TSI of 301 ranking top 6%. His pedigree is reliable and we like his parents and grandparents extremely well.
— Here’s a bull we’ve liked all summer long. We think enough of his young dam that we’ve flushed her. He didn’t transition the best when we took him to the bull test, but once we got him straightened out, he started gaining 3.7 lbs/day and appears to be on the right track. He has an above average WW Ratio at 102, a big set of nuts, and lots of length. A maternal brother sired by Performer sells as Lot 101.
— Genomically this bull is elite for growth & carcass: top 4% for WW & YW; top 5% REA, top 7% CW, top 30% Marbling and a TSI Index of 300 ranking top 6%. His dam was 4 years old and is one of only two daughters by CCC Telephone Romeo 9023 — maternal sisters to RENN Cowboy Romeo 1505, who is doing such a good job for us. His maternal great grand dam is our old donor Y211 and the matriarch of one of our prominent foundation cow families. Lots of good genes in these pedigrees.
— 5801 is out a phenotypically impressive 7 year old daughter by LT Ledger 0332, who milks just enough to stay around. She weaned this calf at the left of center on the bell curve but once weaned, he took off growing like we thought he should and earned a 104 YW Ratio. Within his pen, he was well above average gaining 4.7 lbs/ day. He has the genetics to grow, and ranks in the top 15% for WW and top 20% for YW with added muscle shape.
— Here is a bull with a massive physique and lots of added muscle. His genomic profile is balanced and impressive. Top 15% for Marbling, TSI, Milk and Udder; top 20% for WW, YW & REA, and if you wanted to keep daughters top 2% MCE, top 15% Milk & top 9% Maternal. He ranks in the top 20% for Calving Ease Direct (which is very unique in the Silver Gun pedigree). Really strong herd sire prospect here with Calving Ease, Growth, Maternal and Carcass in a great looking package.
RENN GUN RUNNER 557N
HEART-J Gunner 5092
— 5092 is out of a female bred for terminal growth and carcass traits. She milked well enough to give this bull a 103 WW Ratio, who then really turned on the pounds to reach a 1,336
and gain of 5.5
When using Charolais bulls you want moderate calving, extra growth, added muscle to make calves that feed. 5092’s genomic profile indicates he should produce just that.
— 507 is a cross-breeding made easy kind of bull. We have customers that repeatedly ask for these F1 cross bulls to use on their Angus or Red Angus cows to optimize a 3-way cross and enhance heterosis. Out of purebred Hereford females and crossed with our top power sire, 507 should make excellent feeder calves. This bull had a big weaning weight at 783 lbs. He gained strong at 4.1 lbs/day. He has lots of stretch and muscle to him and his calves will look pretty awesome.
— This is a ¾ blood Charolais out of a half Charolais, half Red Angus 11 year old female who has stood the test of time and been a great cow. Even in her golden age she is placing her son’s in the bull sale pen. Hefty at birth, 5249 came with no issues, but he was stout from the beginning. Take a look here as he is a power bull that could help ranchers push down the scales at weaning time.
— A half brother to the previous lot. Buy them both and have some consistent 3-way cross calves that should mash down the scales. This one had a 104 WW Ratio and 101 YW Ratio. Both bulls have had genomics done on them. This one ranks in the top 15% for Marbling and top 25% for TSI. We purchased this really pretty Hereford female from the Ernst Herefords Dispersal in Colorado a couple of years ago. She has done a nice job and has a beautiful udder if you are inclined to keep daughters out of this sire.

RENN COWBOY ROMEO 1505 Sire of Lots 39 - 62
— This is an outstanding son of our Cowboy Romeo sire! Last year we retained a full brother to use on our replacement heifers, and we can attest that the consistency in this mating has held true. In our opinion, 5238 is even better than the brother we kept. 5238 has one of the heaviest weaning weights on the sale at 889 lbs. and ratio’d 117. He kept growing post weaning and is one of the heaviest YW bulls in the offering at 1,435 lbs. to ratio 111. The length, powerful hip, topline and body in this bull with his fancy look, will make any good cowman sit up and pay attention. His elite genomic profile is sure to arouse any performance based, data-driven cattle breeder with his

things up nicely. He has the look, the performance and the numbers making him one of the most interesting bulls in the offering.
— 5269 is a ¾ brother to Lot 39. A full brother sold last year to our good friend Kasey Taylor to use on his purebred Charolais herd. This is another impressive Cowboy Romeo son with moderate birth, an excellent weaning and yearling weights to ratio 103 and gained strong at 4.3 lbs/day on test. The bottom side of this pedigree is neat having Front Range and females belonging to the Rennert Bentley cow family in the chart. This bull offers a great deal of balance with calving ease, growth, maternal and strong carcass in his genomic profile.

— I remember 5207 being born. It was the morning of our bull sale last year and at around 4:00 am this guy showed up and it was -35 degrees. We got him up and going but it did tip his ears a little bit. This bull has done well and weaned over average with a 102 WW ratio and had a 105 YW ratio with a gain of 4.4 lbs./day. He has come a long ways from that frigid morning he arrived. He has 13 traits in the top third of the breed and 7 in the top 10%. Good strong balanced genetics in this one.

We were fortunate to be able to buy a flush on quite possibly the hottest Charolais donor female in the breed who has been hitting it out the park in Canada and the United States. M6 Ms New Germaine 484 was the high-selling female on the historic M6 Dispersal at $36,000 and has since gone on to produce offspring like SVY Historic 241K and CCR GHC Grandview 9032, who we are having much success with. There are too many other notable offspring of 484 to mention, but we wanted to flush her to one of our own sires and selected RENN Counselor 0713. This mating wasn’t meant to chase extreme numbers, but to make highly sensible, functional cattle that are complete yet high quality. We were fortunate enough to get a heifer calf and these two sons. We are anxiously awaiting 5 additional full sibs that will be hitting the ground in January 2026. Take a look at these two bulls — both who have performed well and we are very excited to offer.

We absolutely love his mother who is 7 years old, great uddered, balanced and super productive. He is a very complete herd sire prospect.
— Here is a little throwback to some old school genetics from our program. Lexington was our high-selling bull on our first sale 10 years ago, eventually ending up in the Leachman herd in Colorado. His dam, Nichole Y211, was our first foundation donor, a Dam of Distinction and has left so many daughters, grand daughters and great grand daughters in our herd. This is the last of the Y211 direct offspring. He is a good, heavy muscled bull with plenty of mass and we call him a meat wagon. Powerful gain at 4.4 lbs/day.
RENN PERFORMER 634 540N
— The Big Easy sire is a combination of Fink breeding and the Germaine family combined with the great FH Ms B09 Nancy 9006 donor on the top side of the pedigree and crossed with an HCR Freedom 6144 x Telephone Romeo x the Y211 foundation donor of Rennert Ranch’s. Lots of highly desirable blood in the genes here. This guy had a big time weaning weight of 847 lbs. to ratio 105. He gained strong on test, is soggy made and well put together.
— Mahomes was a gorgeous herd sire who has left us with some incredible daughters. 5757 is the fancy made and attractive natural calf out of the dam of FH Gun Runner 2024. He
