Thedaykickedoffwiththeannual74KRace,benefitingConnor’sHeroes,supportingCentral Virginiafamiliesfacingchildhoodcancer Runnersandwalkersstartedthemorningstrongwhile comingtogetherforagreatcause
TheFourthofJulyParadefollowed,bringingneighbors,families,andvisitorsalongtherouteto celebrate.Withcommunitygroups,decoratedvehicles,bagpipers,horses,andplentyof patrioticspirit,theparadewasfilledwithexcitementfromstarttofinish.
ThecelebrationcontinuedatSundayParkwiththeannualpicnicfeaturingcomplimentaryhot dogs,watermelon,colddrinks,livemusic,facepainting,balloonart,andactivitiesforallages. Residentsenjoyedanafternoonofconnectingwithneighborsandcelebratingtogether.
TheeveningendedwithaspectacularfireworksdisplayovertheSwiftCreekReservoir,creating anothermemorableFourthofJulyinBrandermill.
