Some require registration (see instructions below) and some are drop in but they can fill up quickly, especially for our large events. To offer the best experience for everyone, we distribute free tickets first-come, first-serve 30 minutes before the ticketed program starts. These tickets are only available until we reach capacity and attendance is not guaranteed.

From the CEO Welcome to Inspiring Connections for September to December 2026! I invite you to go Back to Learning this fall with the many offerings in our branches and online, including the exciting programs and events listed in this guide. The fall is full of community celebrations that you can learn about at the Library. With National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, it's a great time to learn about Indigenous culture, starting with our Moccasin Identifier and First Nations Gathering Series programs. Culture Days, an annual Ontario celebration of arts, culture, and heritage, takes place September 18

to October 4, and the Library is proud to present a series of Culture Days Storytimes. Kids can learn about Diwali, Halloween, and winter celebrations at our special Storytime Adventures events, and adults can participate in our 12 Days of Creativity programs as we near the holiday season, including a special Winter Artist Market in November. Other highlights this fall include our kids STEAM aviation workshops presented by Toronto Pearson, a new series of Royal Ontario Museum workshops, a College and University Fair, Peel Public Health workshops for new parents, another Repair Café, and a showcase of the creations of our Artist in Residence, Shiemara Hogarth.
