“Street Flow 2” (2023)
The story of three very different brothers living in a tough suburb of Paris continues in the new French movie “Street Flow 2,” premiering on Netflix Wednesday, Sept. 27. Every family has their drama, and this ancient family is no exception. Fox’s newest animated comedy series, “Krapopolis,” makes its streaming premiere on Hulu Monday, Sept. 25. Centering on “a flawed family of humans, gods and monsters attempting to guide humanity out of the savage wilderness and into a new lifestyle experiment they’re calling ‘civilization,’” the series follows along as they attempt to run Krapopolis, one of the world’s first cities, without killing each other in the process (per Fox). The story follows the exploits of Tyrannis (Richard Ayoade, “The IT Crowd”), the mortal son of a goddess and the king of Krapopolis; Deliria (Hannah Waddingham, “Ted Lasso”), goddess of self-destruction and questionable choices, and Tyrannis’ mother; Shlub (Matt Berry, “What We Do in the Shadows”), Tyrannis’ father, a half-centaur, half-manticore; and Hippocampus (Duncan Trussell, “The Midnight Gospel”), Tyrannis’ half-brother, the offspring of Shlub and a mermaid.
