Morris Chestnut in “Watson”
“Boyz n the Hood” (1991) and “The Resident” actor Morris Chestnut stars as the uniquely talented titular doctor in “Watson,” premiering on CBS and Paramount+ following the NFL’s AFC championship game, Sunday, Jan. 26. After the death of his genius business partner Sherlock Holmes, Watson returns to work as the head of a clinic where he and his team diagnose mysterious illnesses and solve the occasional crime along the way. Craig Sweeny (“Elementary”) serves as showrunner.
