From Egleston Square to Entrepreneur in Residence A grant from the Nasdaq Foundation funds the Boston Public Library’s inaugural Entrepreneur in Residence program. As a child growing up in Boston, Dr. Allana Da Graca regularly visited the Egleston Square Branch, in Roxbury, and now fondly remembers the piles (and piles!) of books she would check out. As a teen, she came to the Central Library to work on college applications, and when she was brainstorming how to start her own business, she spent her days at the Kirstein Business Library & Innovation Center (KBLIC), an experience she describes as “life changing.” Interview continues on page 2
