University Centre Poole

University Centre Poole specialises in degree-level, technical and professional courses designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in your chosen industry!

All of our courses are delivered with your career prospects in mind, offering hands-on learning in industry-standard facilities, small class sizes for personalised support and qualifications validated by leading universities. Whether you’re starting your journey or looking to advance your career, our practical, career-focussed approach ensures you graduate ready for success.

Funded by £1.2m investment from the government and the college, the building offers a contemporary learning environment, providing flexible learning spaces for small group teaching, with access to industry-specification digital suites, engineering and nursing training. The building also accommodates social and study spaces to allow students to meet and collaborate.

Getting to our Campus

We’re proud to say that we are easily accessible by both bus and train, making it simple for you to join us on our Taster Week days.

Bus Routes

Our campus is well-connected by local bus services, stopping just outside of our main entrance. Whether you’re coming from the town centre, or nearby locations, there’s likely a direct or connecting bus route for you.

M1: Poole to the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, serving: Parkstone, Westbourne, Bournemouth and Castlepoint.

M2: Poole to Southbourne, serving: Parkstone, Westbourne, Bournemouth and Boscombe.

20: Poole to Castlepoint, serving: Poole, Parkstone, Branksome, Westbourne, Charminster and Muscliff.

15: Poole to Royal Bournemouth Hospital, serving: Parkstone, Wallisdown, Winton, Moordown and Castlepoint.

All single bus fares are currently just £2, whilst young people can get unlimited bus travel in Zone A for as little as £1.75 per day for unlimited trips, very verification through the MoreBus App.

Train Stations

We’re fortunate to be situated by two train stations, making travel by rail incredibly easy. Both stations are within walking distance of the college, offering fast connections to and from surrounding areas.

Parkstone Train Station:

Just a 15-minute walk from campus, with direct services from Weymouth and London Waterloo.

Poole Train Station:

A mile from our Poole Campus, with a taxi rank just outside platform 1.

UCAS Entry Application Deadlines

For courses starting in 2026, your application should be submitted to UCAS by one of the below dates:

26th February 2026: UCAS Extra opens. If your original five choices have been unsuccessful, you can use Extra to apply for a place on another course.

30th June 2026 (6pm): Last date for on-time applications. After this time, applications will automatically be entered into Clearing.

2nd July 2026: Clearing Opens. Vacancies available through Clearing will be published from this date.

24th September 2026: Final date for 2026 entry applications.

For courses starting in 2027, key dates are listed below:

13th January 2027: Main deadline for application to most undergraduate courses.

25th February 2027: UCAS Extra opens. If your original five choices have been unsuccessful, you can use Extra to apply for a place on another course.

30th June 2027 (6pm): Last date for on-time applications.

After this time, applications will automatically be entered into Clearing.

2nd July 2027: Clearing opens.
