Music Director Norman Huynh offers his interpretation of Johannes Brahms’ Symphony No. 1. With its premiere in 1876, this symphony respected the traditions of classical giants while ushering in new possibilities for symphonic music. Then, be the first to witness the final Bozeman Symphony commission for our Composer-in-Residence, Scott Lee. Through The Last Best Place and The Fire Beneath, Scott has developed a charming rapport with our musicians and audience. This final commission will be a full-scale symphonic work that will push the limits of his compositional voice and further establish him as one of North America’s exciting young composers.

Witness Music Director Norman Huynh’s unique interpretation of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3 in E flat major “Eroica.” Conveying both turmoil and triumph, this piece is known as a crucial turning point for both Beethoven and symphonic music as a whole, as it marks the beginning of the Romantic Period. Prize-winning pianist Rodolfo Leone returns to Bozeman to perform Ravel’s “lighthearted and brilliant” Piano Concerto in G major.
