Good news for patients Medicare is expanding its bulk billing support from 1 November 2025.
This means that the care you already receive at Box Hill Healthcare may now be covered more fully by Medicare, with more services and consultations attracting no out-of-pocket cost.

What’s Changing with Medicare Bulk Billing
From 1 November 2025, the Australian Government is increase and expanding its bulk billing incentives
This helps GP clinics like ours continue providing bulk-billed services for a wider range of patients and appointment types including in-person, phone, and video consultations.
In short, Medicare is contributing more, so you can keep accessing quality care without extra cost.
What This Means for You
• Same great care — with stronger Medicare support Most patients will continue to be bulk billed, and more appointment types may now be fully covered.

Some services and procedures are not covered by Medicare and may still attract private fees our staff will always let you know in advance.
