1. ENTRY CONDITIONS 1.1.

Affiliation

Open to all full bowling members who are registered as a member of an affiliated club with a: State or Territory Association (STA) affiliated to Bowls Australia; National Bowling Authority that is a member of World Bowls. 1.2.

Eligibility As a condition of entry, all competitors must: Not be currently under disqualification or suspension by their STA or their National Authority; Comply with all applicable ‘Laws of the Sport of Bowls and Domestic Regulations for Australia, Crystal Mark 4th Edition, May 2023, including Bowls Australia Policies. Competitors nominating for events in the ‘Bowlers with a Disability’ discipline, must be deemed eligible to play in that event by the appropriate disability governing body. For International bowlers, their eligibility must be supported by their appropriate disability governing body in line with Law 41 (Laws of the sport). Australian bowlers must fall in line with the conditions in the points listed below. Vision Impaired Singles & Pairs: All players based in Australia must carry a national classification with ABBA or IBD. International players must carry a classification with IBD or IBBA. If asked by the organising body athletes must provide the appropriate medical evidence to BA prior to the event.
