SAILING AWAY For many years, one of our most enthusiastic and talented photo contributors has certainly been Haig Farris. Snapped from his home base on Bowen’s southern shores, if you’ve read these pages you’ve no doubt seen Haig’s photos which regularly capture - in amazing detail - the lives of our island’s majestic wildlife, with a particular fondness for the many Eagles who frequent the neighbourhood. Unobstructed views to Vancouver - as seen above during this year’s Round Bowen Race - also remind us of our close relationship with the metropolis right next door.
