THE WINNER of the Entertainment Grand Prix for 2026 is ‘Original Forever’, an iconic collaboration between Adidas Originals and rock band Oasis, entered by Johannes Leonardo New York and Adidas London.
‘Original Forever’ was a campaign and clothing collection that celebrated the long-standing connection between the band and the brand. Built around Oasis’s reunion tour, it tapped into the shared cultural legacy of 1990s Britpop and classic Adidas streetwear, with Liam and Noel Gallagher front and centre in the campaign imagery.
The campaign placed Adidas authentically at the heart of the Oasis tour — and generated
huge merchandise sales, both to original and new fans.
Jury President Chris Beresford-Hill, worldwide chief creative officer, BBDO Worldwide, said the jury had a “visceral emotional reaction” to the campaign. “It was the right brand, right band, right moment. They absolutely nailed it — we couldn’t look away.”
Looking across the category Beresford-Hill said the jury favoured work that had “a meaningful clear role for the brand but where the brand really leaned into entertainment. It was not about gratuitous close-ups of logos.” Beresford-Hill was the first jury president to reflect on Cannes Lions’ new integrity rules. He said: “It was satisfying to engage with work where the veracity was never in question.”
The jury also awarded three Golds to campaigns from Mexico, the US and US/Italy.
A PERUVIAN campaign that championed “the power of fandom” has taken home the 2026 Entertainment Lions For Sport Grand Prix. Entered by McCann Lima for Club Deportivo Municipal, ‘The Thousand Sponsors of Muni’ was an original and commercially savvy response to a collapse in the soccer team’s on-field performance. Instead of seeking a single headline sponsor (tough given the club’s poor results), the club secured 1,000 micro-sponsorships with local businesses. It then created a unique shirt
made up of a patchwork of all the sponsors’ logos, which became a focal point for civic pride and boosted the businesses that had backed the team during its crisis.
Jury President Shannon Washington, chief creative officer and managing partner, 11 Ounces, said jurors “loved how this campaign didn’t stop with a jersey. The sponsors became part of the ecosystem of the team. The campaign signalled to other fans to support the businesses. It sets a precedent for how teams and clubs behave moving forward.”

THE WINNER of the Entertainment Lions for Gaming Grand Prix is ‘Copycats Welcome’, an ingenious campaign for Clash Royale from David, New York. The campaign was Clash Royale’s response to the fact that thousands of copycat games had sprung up — and were starting to erode its audience.
Rather than irritate players of those games, Clash Royale reached out to them and invited them to re-engage with the original. As an incentive, it allowed them to carry over any in-game currency or levels they had accumulated in the copycats. As a result, there was no sense of wasted time or effort in cross -
ing over. 2.3 million players were converted via the campaign, including 1.65 million new players.
Jury president Lolly Thomson, joint global chief creative officer M+C Saatchi, said: “Instead of calling in the heavy machinery of IP lawyers, Clash Royale flipped it on its head. It said: ‘We know you’re playing these games, so come home.’ That’s something only an original can do.”
Thomson said the category in general “is one of the most dynamic at the Festival. It is as limitless as the worlds it creates. Gaming is a place where brands and culture can meet. It’s truly immersive, there is a real alchemy.”
In terms of what the jury was

looking for, Thomson set criteria including “meaningful results, authenticity, a purpose beyond the campaign, a legacy, a strong brand fit and the ability to compete as entertainment. Intriguingly, the only Gold Lion also went to Clash Royale, for ‘Pocket-sized Halftime Show’, entered by Uncommon Creative Studio, Stockholm.
THE ENTERTAINMENT Lions for Music jury has the right to award two Grands Prix — and it did just that. ‘Original Forever’ (Adidas; Johannes Leonardo New York) and ‘Rosalía Ft. Bjork, Yves Tumor – Berghain’ (Rosalía; Canada, Barcelona) both received Grands Prix in a closely-fought category that also delivered Gold Lions to Apple and Fuck Cancer. This category celebrates creative musical collaborations and branded music content. Entries need to creatively leverage a recording artist or platform to communicate with consumers.
Jury president Matt Murphy, global chief creative officer, 72andSunny, hailed “a very strong category with a wide range of storytelling and emotionality”. According to Murphy, the jury

was looking for entries where “the brand benefited the artist as much as the artist benefited the brand”, with ‘Original Forever’ a perfect example of that. This was the second Grand Prix for the campaign following its win in the Entertainment Lions category. “This was an example of a brand becoming a partner, not just a sponsor. We applauded them for going all in. It’s hard to do that, but when you give 100% commitment that’s when you get a Grand Prix.”
The Rosalía video, for the Berghain track, also stood out, Murphy said. “It floored me with its mix of heartache and freedom. It was classic yet modern, a fantasy yet rooted in reality. From a craft perspective, we also loved the decision to shoot on film.”
CRYPTO-EXCHANGE Coinbase levelled up its marketing with its games-inspired ‘Your Way Out’ campaign. Now it has won the mother of all boss battles: winning a Cannes Lions Film Craft Grand Prix.
The film, created by New York agency Isle of Any, sees a non-playing character (NPC) in a game break free of his boring routine and run towards freedom — a narrative presented in console-game visuals with lots of nods towards gaming culture.
“It just naturally rose to the top through the process of the judging, even for the jurors who may have originally had another piece of work in their hearts,” said Jury President Pip Smart, executive producer and partner at Revolver.
“There were so many visionary choices throughout the work. The depth and the originality of the craft was really what we couldn’t deny.”
There were 1,433 entries in the Film Craft category this year, with Golds awarded to work from Switzerland, the US (4), Germany and Mexico.
“We saw some incredibly inspiring and compelling work,” Smart said. “A lot of traditional in-camera effects, a lot of physical set pieces and practical effects. We had a lot of puppets, we had a lot of music and we had a lot of singing and dancing, which was fun!
“There felt like a definite push to a tone that was uplifting, playful — even magical — and nostalgic, ultimately. And we came back to direction, which is where we awarded our Grand Prix.”

WHEN Apple rebranded its Apple TV service with a series of colourful mnemonics, it could easily have created them digitally.
Instead, agency TBWA\Media Arts Lab built them from glass and filmed them in-camera while commissioning a soundtrack from musician Finneas. The work paid off this week with a Lions Design Grand Prix.

“It was probably the most significant rebrand of the year. That’s important: we wanted to recognise scale,” said Jury President Greg Quinton, chief creative officer at Design Bridge and Partners.
“The idea is simple: using movement, light, colour and sound to evoke the magic of cinema. The craft is exquisite. What could have been made far quicker and far more easily using tech was made by hand,” Quinton added.
“You can sense the love poured into it. As an audience, we feel emotionally better about the brand, and that is ultimately the power of design.”
The Design jury scrutinised 792 entries this year, with Golds awarded to work from Canada, Brazil, the US and a joint Sweden/Denmark piece.
“There was a macro-trend in terms of ‘human made’, bringing people closer to brands,” Quinton said. “And in micro-trends, typography is the new playground. It is incredible how many projects had typography where it went next-level.”
A CAMPAIGN that turned five De’Longhi coffee machines into miniature coffee shops has won this year’s Lions Grand Prix for Industry Craft. Madrid agency LOLA devised the campaign for the brand, enlisting Simon Weisse, a famous miniaturist who usually builds his models for use in films.
The goal was to encourage more people to think that they can enjoy coffee at home that is just as tasty as that served in a coffee shop. Making the five models involved hundreds of hours of painstaking human craft. “It reconnects you with something unique: the ability to feel like children. Every detail was crafted with extraordinary care, turning tiny decisions into giant emotions,” said Jury President Rafael Gil, chief creative officer at Artplan. “This was the perfect symbol of what craft can be.”
There were 649 entries in the Industry Craft category this year, with Golds awarded to work from

Norway and Japan.
“One of the many discussions we had was about how to define craft today. Traditionally, craft is associated with excellence in execution, and execution remains a fundamental part of this category,” Gil said. What set the winners apart was “not just impeccable execution, but every craft decision having a clear purpose: we saw great ideas behind execution, and beautiful stories being told through craft.”
GOOGLE’s Project Genie, a research prototype enabling people to create interactive worlds using AI prompts, has won the Grand Prix for Digital Craft.
The platform started as frontier research, but was opened up for more people to use in January this year. They can prompt with images or text to create a world and a character, modifying them through further prompts before diving in to explore it.
“Project Genie gave us the future. It gave us what it’s going to do for creativity, and how it’s going to empower us to be better storytellers,” said Jury President Andrés Ordóñez, global chief creative officer, McCann.
“Genie is the co-pilot but we are the drivers of the creativity,” he added. “I think that’s magical.”
There were 355 entries for the Digital Craft category this year, with three Golds awarded to work from the US, Peru and Brazil. Technology

was understandably prominent, but so were the humans making the most of it.
“What separated all the pieces wasn’t just tech for the sake of tech. It was understanding what tech enabled the piece to become,” Ordóñez said. “When we got to the Grand Prix, it was unanimous for us.”

AI IS changing the world at warp speed, accelerating profound changes in media, commerce and brand-building. But as the industry squares up to AI — its risks, rewards and responsibilities — there is one constant, according to Marc Pritchard, P&G’s chief brand officer. And that is that human insight remains the foundation of successful brands.
Speaking at yesterday’s P&G seminar, Robots Can’t Build Brands: The New S-Curve Of Creative Transformation, Pritchard said the current marketing environment is at an inflection point driven by three shifting forces: media fragmentation, the convergence of media and commerce, and the rapid adoption of AI.
“But it’s never been more fun to be a brand-builder,” Pritchard insisted, pointing to the “exciting new technologies” that he believes will transform creativity rather than sideline it.
The P&G veteran traced the evolution of media from newspapers
and broadcast television to social media, streaming platforms and generative AI. Meanwhile, commerce has become increasingly integrated with media, allowing consumers to move from product discovery to purchase in minutes.
“The path to purchase is literally collapsing right in front of us,” he said, citing the rise of quick-commerce platforms in markets such as China and India.
AI is accelerating both trends by enabling personalised experiences, generating creative content at scale and helping consumers navigate purchase decisions. However, Pritchard stressed that technology cannot replace the human understanding that drives effective brand-building. “What stays the same are the fundamentals of brand-building,” he said. “Brands must continue to discover relevant human insights that lead to meaningful brand ideas.”
He illustrated the point with P&G’s experience with adapting
HORIZON Media Holdings president Bob Lord thinks marketers are about to hit “the biggest fundamental pivot that we’ve ever seen in this industry”.
“When you think about traditional marketing, you think about the funnel, about brand marketing versus performance marketing. All of that has collapsed,” Lord told Lions Daily News.
“The good news is that the technology that is available to us now, as marketers, will allow us to be much more transparent in what we know.”
Lord cited the famous John Wanamaker maxim about half the money you spend on advertising being wasted, but that you don’t know which half.
“At this point now, we can figure
out which half is really being effective, and spend our money more on the half that’s working than on the half that’s not,” said Lord. Lord offered brisk criticism of the way “the legacy agencies have built their systems based on the old marketing processes”, claiming that their investment in those systems means they will force clients to use them, even if they become rapidly outdated.
“If you’re a marketer, you need to own your own technology stack. You need to own the data that’s in the technology stack. And what’s more important is that now, if I own the data, I own the insight into my consumer,” Lord said.
“Now think about the models: the decision models, the LLMs that get created on top of that data. You need
dishwashing products for the UK market. While the company’s Dawn Powerwash succeeded in the US, the same positioning failed in the UK because consumers habitually soak dishes before washing them. That cultural insight led to a new Fairy campaign built around the idea that consumers could “skip the soak”. “AI could have analysed millions of data points,” Pritchard said, “but it would not have understood the deep-seated cultural ritual of soaking dishes in the UK. That takes human observation, empathy and intuition.”
He also referenced the Tide Evo and Pantene campaigns as examples of combining consumer insight with AI-powered execution. In Pantene’s case, teams used AI tools to produce creative assets faster and more efficiently, but the original idea emerged from human observation. “The technology didn’t create the idea,” Pritchard said. “It helped bring human insight to life at the speed of culture.”

to own those models also. At Horizon Media, we allow you not only to own the data, but we also allow you to own the model on top of it.”
“Think about Meta. I could write a cheque to Mark Zuckerberg and say ‘okay, go do my marketing
for me’. But he’s keeping all the data insights, he’s keeping all the model intelligence, and he’s just bringing back results,” he said.
“You could be happy as a marketer: ‘I got great results!’ But you’ve learned nothing about your consumer.”
“EARNED creativity is having a moment, and that’s really exciting. Today, some of the most impactful ideas are designed to earn attention rather than buy it, and I think this is an exciting moment for us as practitioners.”
Chris Foster, CEO of Omnicom Public Relations (OPR) sees the 2026 Cannes Lions as an important moment for his sector, with AI the key driver.
“In the age of AI, earned media isn’t just influencing people, it’s influencing the systems that people use to get information,” he told Lions Daily News. This means a resurgence in importance for press releases, corporate websites and journalism alike, with AI models treating them as credible sources when returning
information for users.
“There’s a credibility and an authenticity around earned attention that you’re just not going to get from the traditional paid. As we think about our ability and the opportunity we have to influence those [AI] systems, it does create a new moment for us,” Foster said.
OPR is navigating these new waters while also emerging from a period of reorganisation following its parent company’s acquisition of Interpublic Group (IPG) last year.
“It’s been a challenge, but also an opportunity. We’ve had an opportunity to streamline the portfolio a little bit with some mergers and integrations, which has been good,” Foster said.
“It’s hard for clients of any size to get everything they need from one

agency, but they can when you have a capability that’s as diverse as ours.”
Foster feels that OPR’s future is in good hands with its younger staff, and the company is fielding two teams in this week’s Young Lions.
“There’s a fearlessness and a courage that I see with young people that is inspiring for someone like myself, who’s 30 years-plus in the business. They see their role as change-agents much earlier in their careers than we did,” Foster said.
He hailed the way that young PR practitioners “live in culture, and culture lives in communities” as an important trend for brands to engage with.
“Progressive brands who are not afraid to be in living communities will probably dominate the creative space in the next year or two,” Foster said.
AI will of course be part of that evolution, but humans will stay in the driving seat in Foster’s view.
“In partnership with AI, the human element gives us nuance, timing, perspective and cultural relevance in a way that I don’t think the technology has really caught up to.”

FRESH from their packed-out Cannes Lions session, Space Isn’t The Future - It’s Your Brief, feted physicist Brian Cox and astronaut Sian Leo Proctor met the Lions Daily News to challenge one of the creative industry’s biggest blind spots: the assumption that space is a distant subject reserved for astronauts, billionaires and science fiction.
They were joined by fellow panelist Aarti Holla-Maini, director of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, and event convenor Sergio Fernandez de Cordova, executive chairman of Pvblic Foundation, to discuss how space has already become essential to 21st-century global infrastructure, shaping everything from agriculture and education to communications, climate monitoring and economic growth.
De Cordova said the timing of the session feels significant — in light of the recent Artemis mission and Elon Musk’s SpaceX IPO. “Everybody’s talking about space,” he said.
“But nobody really understands the fabric that underpins it. What does it actually take to change policy? How do you unlock the benefits and make sure that African women can be part of this, or people from small islands in the Pacific?”
Cox believes one of the greatest misconceptions is that space is still viewed as “a luxury arena. But actually, it’s not. We’re not just talking about space toys or space tourism. It’s agriculture. It’s food supply. It’s everything.”
Cox, who expressed his frustration at the lack of public investment in space-related innovation, has no doubt we are “at the beginning of the new Industrial Revolution in space,” he said. “And there’s an opportunity to do it better

than in the past.”
Aarti Holla-Maini, director of the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, believes the commercial world has yet to recognise how closely its own ambitions align with space applications. She spotlighted the real-world applications associated with data.
“The potential for new companies to do things with space data is phenomenal,” she said, pointing to applications ranging from water management to agriculture.
Commercial spacecraft pilot, artist and Star Trek lover Sian Leo Proctor said she returned from orbit with a changed perspective. “We live on a waterworld. We are united by one sky and one ocean,” she said. “It connects us all.”
She championed the idea of ‘Earthlight’ — the understanding that humanity shares a single home. “Maybe if we start talking the fact we live in an Earthlight world, people will feel more connected to our planet and want to do something with it,” she said.
For Proctor, the mission is no longer reaching space. “I’d been chasing space my entire life, and I thought that was the goal,” she said. “But what I realised is that that is not the goal. The goal is what you do with that opportunity when you come back.”
Cox shares that belief, arguing that politicians might take space more seriously if they were required to visit space. “Every single astronaut that I’ve spoken to has said it changed their perspective,” he said. “It should be compulsory for politicians.”

DESCRIBING this year’s Cannes LionHeart recipient is easy. You don’t need to bother with summarising her achievements, or go into her impact on media, television, podcasting, publishing, philanthropy and social advocacy. You don’t even need to mention the fact that she’s become a global symbol of resilience, empowerment and cultural influence. You just need to say one word. Oprah. And it’s one of the most powerful brands on the planet. Interestingly, Oprah Winfrey wasn’t too happy about that description back in 1989, when her eponymous daytime talk show was beginning to go stratospheric. “I resisted 100% ever being called a brand,” she told the packed auditorium. “It felt like it was taking away from my real intention, which was to be authentic. Now, I don’t resist it anymore. I’ve accepted that I am a brand. And I accept that my heart is my brand.” Winfrey said her success has been built not on marketing strategies but on a commitment to “what is meaningful, truthful and purposeful”. Over the decades, as her influence has expanded fromThe Oprah Winfrey Show to podcasts, books and philanthropic ventures, she has remained resolutely focused on a deeper mission: “I believe the real reason you’re here is to use yourself in service to something that’s greater than yourself.” Winfrey said a turning point in her career was reading Gary Zukav’s The Seat Of The Soul, which introduced concepts that would shape her approach. One lesson in particular — that “when your personality comes to serve the energy of your soul, that is authentic empowerment” — transformed how she viewed her role. Rather than allowing television to dictate her work, Winfrey said she decided to turn her show into “a force for good”. She introduced a practice of defining the intention behind every episode, gathering producers before
and after to discuss whether they had achieved it. One early example involved a grieving mother whose teenage daughter had been murdered by an abusive boyfriend. Instead of focusing on sensational details, Winfrey worked with the mother to raise awareness about domestic violence. “We’re going to save some daughters today,” she remembered telling the mother. As Winfrey’s audience grew into the millions, she became increasingly aware of the responsibility that came with her influence. “But I understood that it wasn’t about me. It was always about the people I was serving,” she said. That philosophy shaped the content of her talk show. Programmes on dating, marriage and parenting often reflected the experiences and questions that she and her production team were facing themselves. “We realised that we were the audience,” she said. Winfrey also reflected on her philanthropic work, including the Leadership Academy for Girls she established in South Africa after discussions with Nelson Mandela. Inspired by her own harsh upbringing, she said she saw parallels between her childhood and those of many of the young girls. “It felt like I was literally mirroring my own life, giving an opportunity to kids,” she said. Discussing her recent recognition atop Forbes’ list of the 250 Greatest SelfMade Americans, Winfrey described the honour as particularly meaningful given her beginnings on “a dirt road in Mississippi”. Yet she argued that wealth and public recognition are not the true measure of success. Drawing on advice from her “friend, sister and mentor” Maya Angelou, Winfrey said legacy is not defined by titles or accolades: “Your legacy is every life you touch.” Winfrey offered a final message to the Cannes audience: focus less on commercial success and more on being the “ fullest, highest expression of yourself. Your bigger job here on the planet is to be the best human being you can be. That’s the goal, I think.”
THE CANNES Lions Educator Forum has returned for 2026 in partnership with the Project Management Institute (PMI), bringing together academics, industry leaders and educators from around the world to address one of the creative sector’s biggest challenges: preparing students for an uncertain and rapidly evolving workplace.
Building on PMI’s third year of collaboration with LIONS Learning, the Forum is designed to create stronger links between education and employment through year-round communities, virtual discussions and a dedicated programme during the Festival.
According to PMI chief marketing officer Menaka Gopinath, concern among educators about whether students are adequately
“There are plenty of opportunities for younger generations to get into the workforce. The landscape just doesn’t look the same”
prepared for the workplace is building. “Are we preparing our students to enter the workforce effectively?” she said.
Gopinath said the pivot towards
AI has made the gulf between education and employment a more urgent consideration, particularly as students repeatedly hear warnings that entry-level jobs may disappear. “A key concern is that kids are not going to learn the critical thinking skills to use AI effectively,” she added.
The Educator Forum seeks to address such issues through intimate discussions rather than conference-style presentations. Topics covered across the week include Transforming Curriculum For A Changing Future; The Modern Learner: Staying Nimble In An Ever-Changing Environment; Don’t Fear AI, Embrace It: Integrating Emerging Technologies Into Academia; and Shaping The Next Era Of Work And Talent Development.
Gopinath described the sessions as “conversational”, adding that organisers keep groups small so participants can openly discuss challenges. “This is about dialogue,” she added. “Being able to ask vulnerable questions, seeing what people are doing, what works.”
Having said that, educators participating in the programme also receive practical resources, including curriculum tools designed to help integrate AI and project-management principles into their teaching.
While a key objective of the Forum is to support educators, Gopinath said it will also host student meet-ups throughout the week. These sessions aim to help students connect with peers, educators and industry professionals, and engage in open conversation on career pathways and emerging industry expectations.
Despite widespread anxiety surrounding AI, Gopinath remains optimistic. She argued that collaboration, stakeholder management

and interpersonal skills remain invaluable. “This industry is not just about orchestrating tasks, it’s also about orchestrating people,” she
said. “There are plenty of opportunities for younger generations to get into the workforce. The landscape just doesn’t look the same.”

INFLUENCERS often grumble about overly-prescriptive briefs from brands. Now PepsiCo has solid evidence that supports their complaints.
“We’ve done some experiments recently with content creators where we broke them up into three different groups and gave three different briefs,” explained chief creative officer Chris Bellinger at Google’s Cannes Lions press briefing on Monday.
One of the briefs was very prescriptive: “All your talking points: 17 pages of the things that you’re supposed to hear”. Another was completely open, inviting creators to say what they thought of the product, and the third was a “light-touch mix” between the two others.
“The content that is currently resonating, driving higher ROI and more view rates is the openended brief: just letting a content creator speak from their point of
view, from their authentic voice,” Bellinger said.
Those given highly detailed briefs appeared very anxious, he said.
“They’re just not working, because you can tell when a content creator is just reading from a script. Immediately your brain shuts off, because you no longer want to listen to them.”
Bellinger said that PepsiCo’s creative strategy has already shifted in this direction: “It’s putting the
content creators at the forefront and our brands are along for the ride, instead of vice-versa.”
“We now have shifted the majority of our assets and resources towards influencer-management relationships,” he said.
“You have to be a part of culture, you have to be a part of the conversation, and content creators is how you do that. Let’s be honest, everyone hates advertising!”

NOVOCOMEDY, the global distributor and producer of non-verbal comedy content, is in Cannes to explore potential partnerships with agencies and brands. The company has a curated library of more than 100,000 clips providing comedy content for television, FAST, AVOD, inflight entertainment, digital publishing and emerging media platforms.
“Our business has always been B2B, how about working with us to make it a B2C?” said founder and CEO Francois-Xavier Poirier. The content spans pranks, home videos, fails, magic, sports bloopers, animation and comedy formats designed to travel globally.
“Our content is built around visual comedy, allowing it to cross language barriers and connect with audiences everywhere,” he said.
Poirier said the media industry is undergoing a fundamental transformation: “Broadcasters, stream-

PELÉ scored his greatest ever goal on August 2, 1959 for Santos against local rivals Clube Atlético Juventus, sombrero-flicking the ball over three defenders before heading in. You won’t have seen video footage of it though. Nobody has, because it doesn’t exist. Now Google is trying to change that through a partnership with Pelé’s estate and carefully-crafted use of its GenAI tools Veo 3 and Gemini Omni.
“It’s been about two years in the works,” said Google’s executive creative director KK Walker at the tech giant’s Cannes Lions press briefing on Tuesday morning.
“We’ve been working alongside historians and archivists in Brazil. The team has pored over hundreds, if not thousands, of different photographs and interviews of people talking about it as eyewitnesses.
ing platforms, FAST operators, digital publishers, social platforms and brands are all facing the same challenge: they need more content, for more platforms, in more territories, with greater efficiency and lower production costs.”
At the same time, he said, audiences are consuming entertainment differently with short-form video consumption contining to grow rapidly across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, connected television and FAST platforms. That shift creates a unique opportunity for non-verbal content because it is instantly understandable, highly shareable, family-friendly, brandsafe and adaptable across multiple platforms.
He said Novocomedy’s library was built precisely around such characteristics, allowing it to travel naturally across borders. “The opportunity today is not simply to license content. The opportunity is to help platforms, publishers, brands and media partners deliver laughter at a global scale.”
“It wasn’t just like putting in a prompt and we had the thing,” she said. “For the accuracy of a reconstruction like this, we actually have to create it practically. We worked with local actors, sports athletes, set designers, filmmakers, directors and crew members.”
There was even a recreation of the heavy leather ball used for the match. The documentary is due out early next month, and will feature at the Pelé Museum in Santos.
